What's the one thing you hate doing as a founder/builder (but still have to)?

What s that one task you always end up doing but really wish you didn t have to?

For me, it s the scrappy stuff like cold outreach or chasing feedback (and getting no reply). It's essential, but always pulls me away from deeper work.

What about you?

What's your annoying-but-necessary task.

Which brand's rebranding did you like the most and which did you like the least?

After Spotify celebrated its 20th anniversary with a new logo (the Spotify disco ball), it was criticised by many people, and dozens of other brands followed suit, also making a disco logo as a form of recession.

I don't think it was that bad. I'm not a graphic designer, and I can see that the contrast there is not good, but I still think there are many worse designs and rebrands.

Is AI making it possible for anyone to become a technical founder?

A few years ago, building a software product usually meant finding a technical co-founder, hiring developers, or spending months learning how to code.

Now, AI-powered tools are changing that process.

More founders, creators, and entrepreneurs can turn ideas into working products faster than ever before. But I think the next challenge is no longer just building it is knowing what to build, validating the idea, creating a great user experience, and earning user trust.

I m curious what the Product Hunt community thinks:

Which Data Recovery software is the best?

One of everyone's biggest nightmares is losing data.

It seems like I ritualistically deal with this every 6 years when my external drive fails, and then I have to get the whole history back (expensively).

What have been your biggest but yet very constructive failures as Product Managers?

In my case, I would say that the biggest failure was delaying the delivery date of a project by a month. The meeting following this mishap allowed us to identify what went wrong and why. Overall it was very constructive since it allowed us to pinpoint the issues that had gone wrong and how to prevent the same scenario from playing out in the future. Have you ever missed deadlines? How did you deal with it?

First hire?

Most of us start as a solo founder or bunch of cofounders. Who do you hire first, why, how and for what profile? I know it would be very specific to your startup. I am looking to hear your stories.

What would happen?

I have seen a lot of people post on here purely for engagement, likes and followers. Is that actually necessary to get legitimate feedback on a release, or am I just feeding the algorithm what it wants?

How do you celebrate (small) wins?

Building something, maybe also on your own sometimes makes it hard to celebrate and enjoy the things we've achieved along the way. How do you celebrate these things?
