Creative feedback is a PROBLEM! How are people handling it?
by•
I run multi-client creative work (video, ad scripts, photography) and feedback always ends up scattered across WhatsApp, email, and Figma comments. Half the time nobody's sure which version actually got approved.
Curious how others handle this, especially freelancers and small agencies juggling several clients at once.
Is your bottleneck getting clear feedback, keeping versions straight, or something else entirely?

I built a simple Notion board with client names and version tags. Feedback still comes from many places but I log everything there myself.
I set products up in Trello and put all the necessary documents, project details etc in there.
Then you can invite everyone involved in the project to the project board, track project progress and provide feedback all in one place.
The one channel rule someone mentioned above is the right instinct, but the part that actually holds it together is naming what approved means before anything is sent. Locking to one channel stops the scatter, it does not stop a client saying yes in a comment thread and then changing their mind in a call three days later. What has worked for me is a single line at the top of every round, this version, these are the open questions, reply here to approve, and treating anything that arrives outside that as unofficial no matter how it sounds. Sounds petty but it is the only thing that has actually killed the which version did we agree on conversation for me.
