Creative feedback is a PROBLEM! How are people handling it?
by•
I run multi-client creative work (video, ad scripts, photography) and feedback always ends up scattered across WhatsApp, email, and Figma comments. Half the time nobody's sure which version actually got approved.
Curious how others handle this, especially freelancers and small agencies juggling several clients at once.
Is your bottleneck getting clear feedback, keeping versions straight, or something else entirely?

I think the hardest part is not geeting feedback. 😭
Version control is the part that gets me every time.
I doubt any single app fixes this fully. The habit of writing dates and verson numbers into every message matters more than the platform chosen.
WhatsApp feedback is lowkey chaos once projects stack up 😭
I just make clients comment on the actual file now. Way easier.
Half the problem is clients changing their mind 10 times 😭
I think the real bottleneck isn't feedback itself but timing. Clients reply whenever they want across platforms so nothing lines up and deadlines slip fast.
One approval message can save hours of back and forth.
I ask every new client one question upfront. Where do you want to give feedback? Then I lock that channel and refuse anything outside it.
I run photography projects and use Pixieset for proofing since clients mark favorites directly on images and I export approvals as one clean list.
