Hi everyone! I am Jan, one of the founders at Frond. The year is coming to a close, but before we wave goodbye to 2023, we’d like to say thank you with our biggest launch yet. We listened closely to your feedback and we shipped a bundle of new features that allow you to not only manage but also monetize your community: 1. Courses: Create, publish, and sell courses 2. Paywalls: Monetize exclusive groups with subscriptions 3. Custom domains: Host your community on a domain you own 4. Events: Create, manage, and discuss community events We’ve added these features to make Frond the easiest way for creators to make money with their content and community – and we’ve done all this while keeping Frond the simple and lightweight product your community knows and loves. And while feeling festive, we’re giving all Product Hunt users 25% off their first payment on any plan. Here’s to all the amazing communities we’re creating together! 🥳
congrats!! Such a nice release!
Thanks so much, Humberto!
Congrats on the exciting updates and thank you for the generous discount! 🚀 I'm curious, which feature are your existing users most excited about, and what inspired the decision to prioritize these specific additions?
UpVoted 🙌 n congratulations on your Launch
Thank you, Mohini!
Paywalls, and course selling are super easy to use, nice tool
Happy to hear you like our new features 😊
This looks really useful. Pretty sweet UX too. What’s your sweetspot among platforms like gumroad and substack?
+1 And also luma and podia?
Thx Patrick! Great question - Gumroad and Substack are valuable players in the creator economy, each filling their own space. Gumroad, in my mind, is wonderful at allowing folks to make individual sales of any kind, while Substack is great for building an audience around a podcast or newsletter. We've found that there is a lot more a creator can do, though: many creators understand that they already have a following waiting to engage more deeply with them. That's why Frond, first and foremost, is a community product (imagine Facebook groups but without Facebook), closely followed by content monetization!
Congrats on launch!
Thank you, Niko!
I think it may be useful to add crypto payments to your project. Congrats with launch!
Thanks for your suggestion! 🙏
Definitely a great idea!
We're looking into crypto use cases very soon! Agree that Frond could help a lot of crypto folks!

nice concept
Thanks, Shuvodip!
These products are amazing
so happy to hear you’re liking it!
Hey, congratulations on your launch! My only question is this: the prices listed on your website look amazingly low, what is the reason for this? It seems that such a service should cost more or at least charge for each seat, and not for access as a whole.
Thanks, Konstantin. Our pricing is set so that it appeals to new community admins who are just getting started with their communities. Down the road, we will likely add another tier (not excluding that this will be per seat) that will capture the other end of the market - advanced or enterprise communities. Hope that makes sense!
yeah, that’s the answer I was hoping for. Good luck!
Guys wish you luck! Love the way you shared free access for early users in April. Bald and smart (hope it worked) Free forever, for now ❤️
Thanks for being an early user and following our journey :)
Great to have you on board for all this time, Konstantin!
Thank you for the kind words! We still have a free plan too!
