👋 Hey Product Hunt! We built Databox MCP because we kept seeing the same problem: AI tools are great at reasoning, but they’re disconnected from real, up-to-date business data. Meanwhile, Databox users still rely on dashboards, scheduled reports, or SQL just to answer simple questions. MCP changes that. Disclaimer: I work at Databox, and I’m saying this from the perspective of someone who lives in Engineering, Ops, and RevOps day to day.

From an operator’s perspective, this opens up a genuinely new way to work with performance data. Databox MCP brings your metrics directly into tools like Claude or ChatGPT so you can actually work with them. Ask questions, crunch numbers, and turn data into updates and insights without the usual export-and-explain loop.

In roles like mine, a lot of time goes into translating metrics into narratives for teams, execs, and initiatives. This cuts straight through that. There may be some rough edges, but the foundation is strong and we’re shipping new capabilities weekly.
