Apply.AI - Data-driven & AI tools for college admissions

Hi Everyone 👋 I'm excited to announce the launch of Apply.AI on ProductHunt!!! My name is Jules Max and I'm the founder of Apply.AI and a self-confessed college admissions nerd. I founded Apply.AI to create a space where students could find all the cutting edge tools to help them in the admissions process - tools that leverage data to help applicants make smarter application decisions. The app is LIVE at collegeapply.ai for free during the 2025-2026 application season. What is Apply.AI? 🎓 Apply.AI is a platform that is designed by counselors and former students to provide students with data-driven tools to help them get an edge in the college admissions process. Students receive insights including 1) Smarter College Recommendations, based on preferences, financial limitations, and ways they can reuse existing essay material. 2) Personalized Essay Feedback, from our model that we've trained off student essays and consulted with our network of admissions experts to provide extensive targetted suggestions. 3) Tailored Engagement Plans, to make it easy to prioritize your time with the right college events, and to guide your conversations with admissions departments. Why Apply.AI? Our team consists of technological innovators and educators with a combined 13 years of experience in the college counseling space. We noticed 3 key issues we want to address: 1) Counselors in high schools are chronically under-resourced. 2) There are few alternatives besides private counseling which can costs upward of $500/hr. 3) Students who are under-supported are increasingly turning to ChatGPT for help writing their essays. By developing a platform that can deliver personalized insights while helping counselors to organize their time and caseloads we can solve all 3 problems at once and create real outcomes for applicants. What's coming next? 🚀 Next up in our development plan is our counselor-facing interface. This interface will allow admissions counselors to manage their students, view high priority cases and tasks, provide essay feedback, college recommendations and other high level insight to their students, and include streamlined direct messaging between counselors and students supported by AI. We've so far acquired over 50 user sign-ups through cold outreach. We've also partnered with organizations handling over 20,000 applications per year - they are currently rolling out our free pilot to their students to test and plan to consult them closely as we develop our counselor facing interface and finalize our B2B pricing model.
