CharlieHR - The HR software for small and medium sized businesses.

Beautiful product - we've used Charlie at Juro.io since we started and loved every minute. What next for you guys?

We use CharlieHR at Lyst and moved to it from another platform that cost the business upwards of $1000 a month. Not only does Charlie have the same features but they are better implemented and more reliable than the competitors. We use Charlie for on-boarding, holiday and absence management and a data store for employee information - it does all of these things excellently. There's a horrible trent in HR technology to try and "do all of the things" which results in badly implemented features copied from existing software. Charlie represents a major step away from the normal style of HRIS and towards a contemporary, user centric approach - when was the last time you heard people say they enjoyed interacting with HR software? CharlieHR has done that for us and is totally deserving of it's success.

I've been using this for a while and I'm very keen to switch over to them for my businesses. The product is great, and the team are very keen to listen to users. They seem genuinely interested in solving real problems, which sounds simple but is actually quite refreshing! Best of luck to you all. Great to see you on PH.

Does this work for US companies?

We rate trust higher than anything. It doesn't take much to run a few servers for small startups using some basic features. It isn't like they were taking feature requests from free customers and that's okay. But, for companies it is an additional effort to move the data out to any other open source or free software. Wouldn't have opted for it if it was mentioned earlier that they take promises lightly.

Pros:

It has basic functionality that is required for a startup

Cons:

Went back on their words of keeping it free, forcing people to pay now. Having invested a lot of effort on it, it's a very bad experience

I have used Charlie for 3 years now and it's brilliant. It's great to have everything all in one place and streamline our agency's HR. Great customer service team always taking on our feedback!

I have been using it for the last few months and it has been a lot easier to use and helpful than previous HR software i've used.

It can help you get to know people in different teams, book holiday, sick days etc.

I really like the look and feel as well, feels friendly not overly corporate!

Found it really helpful for reviewing, tracking and submitting holidays for large teams, and Slack integrations help me understand who is working and where. Also super helpful for storing docs like handbooks and internal processes.
