Happy Monday! A new week means new products, and weāre starting today off strong with a big update from the AI-image generation platform, Midjourney. But firstā¦

Midjourney moves away from Discord and launches its own web platform

Want to experiment with Midjourney but donāt want to sign up for Discord? Youāre in luckāMidjourney now lets you create up to 25 images for free (on a temporary free trial), all without needing to sign up for Discord. The announcement came from CEO David Holz (yes, on Discord), but now you can use the tool directly through a dedicated web app.
Previously, using Midjourney meant navigating its Discord server and learning a specific prompt format, which worked well for dedicated users but felt like a hassle for many. Now, you can just head to Midjourneyās site, sign up, and start creating.Ā
The website was originally only available to those who had already made 10,000 images via Discordāquite the milestoneābut itās now open to everyone. You still need to register, but you can use your Google account if thatās easier for you.
Once youāre signed in, you can browse images in the āExploreā section for ideas, and when youāre ready to create, simply enter your prompt in the āCreateā tab. The AI will generate four images based on what youāve entered, and if you want to tweak them, you can use the āStrongā or āSubtleā options to adjust the output.
After your 25 free images, youāll need to subscribe if you want to keep creating, and plans start at $10 per month for the basic tier.Ā
So weāre just⦠talking to software now?

ElevenLabs has been the go-to for voice for a while. Now they've turned that expertise into agents that actually get things done. You set one up, it talks like a real person, listens, responds, and helps handle the task ā support calls, bookings, whatever the job is. Not a demo, not a "press 1 for sales" situation. It's ready to deploy. Feels like one of those shifts where the interface quietly changes. Less typing, less clicking, more just saying what needs to happen and letting it play out.
