Netflix launched a new thing this weekend...

Over the weekend Netflix launched a new app for Google's VR headset, Daydream. Continue your binge from the comfort of a Netflix's virtual living room and enormous TV screen. 📺

Virtual Reality headsets like Gear VR and Daydream may not be in the same league as the HTC Vive or Oculus Rift, but make for an excellent passive viewing experience. For under $100 you can watch your favorite movies and shows from your own virtual IMAX Theater.

With startups like Wolfprint 3D creating realistic avatars of people and multiplayer 3D movie theaters like CINEVR, we're not far away from going to the movies with friends from all across the world, virtually.

Companies are even bringing native advertising to virtual reality. 😅
