@nivo0o0 Ha! Nice.
Really interesting that they went with fabric -- gotta say it took (actual) courage. But very smart on their part. After spending hours upon hours watching content in virtual reality, fabric makes a lot more sense to have on your head than plastic. Well done Google.

@nivo0o0 It's going to go great with my Allbirds =p
@cheneytsai LOVE my Allbirds as well!
@nivo0o0 yeah and the name of the product fits well with the fabric. Wanna take a nap with it one :)
@cheneytsai @nivo0o0 Allbirds allday. Also, the fabric approach really makes VR a more approachable piece of tech.
Will it work with iPhones...?

@bradenhamm I don't see why not
@bradenhamm My experience with my iPhone 6S and Cardboard is that it works fine but the quality is lackluster because the iPhone pixel density is much less than the flagship Androids - Samsungs for instance. I just confirmed that the iPhone 7 has the same pixel density as the 6S. So I am guessing it will be the same with Fabric - it will work, but not necessarily well enough that you will want to run and show your friends.
@bradenhamm Daydream View only works with Daydream-ready phones (currently Pixel and Pixel XL, with more phones coming soon).
@thejfkshow @bradenhamm the iPhone isn't Daydream ready and I wouldn't count on Apple designing a device according to Google's required specs
The hardware looks great - but it's still all about content! We and the masses need a compelling reason to buy one - we need the kill app!
Clever direction from Google here, remembering the preferred WEARABLE material for a comfortable experience.
