Tomorrow I'm launching Triply.now and I wanted to share the story behind it before the big day.

I'm Raquel, a self-taught solo developer based in the Netherlands. I built Triply entirely alone Flutter, Python/Flask, Claude AI, Supabase, Stripe, Vercel, Render. No co-founder, no funding, no team.

The idea came from my friends and my own travel fails. A friend showed up to a temple in Morocco in the wrong outfit. Another one didn't know tipping in Japan is considered rude. I had the wrong adapter in Switzerland and I once brought my hair dryer to Boston and couldn't use it European voltage, American outlets. Triply would have told me that before I packed. These aren't rare every traveler has been there.

It s happening. Again. I m travelling. :D

And once again, I m trying to find the right balance between my travel life and my work life.

Over time, I ve found a few things that make it much easier:

1. Prepare work in advance.

Hey everyone. I'm Satchmo, indie founder based in Helsinki, Finland. Been building Sujova (sujova.com) for the past several months, an AI trip planner built specifically for couples and small groups. The idea came from a trip to Riga, Latvia where planning in a group Whatsapp thread nearly broke us.

Built it solo with Lovable, no coding background. Live product, Paddle payments, localized in English, Finnish, and Spanish. First real user feedback came from a Finnish woman who used it on a road trip through Norway and Finland and sent me an unsolicited testimonial.

Targeting July 22 for my PH launch. Still learning the distribution side of things, which is honestly harder than building. Happy to be here and looking forward to learning from people who've been through it.

I ve noticed that many ticket providers (especially smaller airlines, local events, indie hotels) don t offer native support for Apple Wallet, so people either end up screenshotting their ticket or manually digging through their inbox at the airport or event gate (that s me!).

The last 2 or 3 years, I have been trying to learn more foreign languages besides English.
My go-to app is (not surprisingly) Duolingo.

I have also experience with Memrise, but it didn't feel like a good fit.

I find these apps to help learn vocabulary or for keeping up with a language I've previously learned in other ways (for example, from a language school or online lessons), but not necessarily for learning at a conversational level.
