Hey Product Hunt!
We ve all been there: you look at your bank account and see a charge, but you can't tell if it s a subscription you forgot about or just a grocery run. Tracking bills shouldn't be that annoying!
So, we built Recurring Charge to fix this.
It automatically separates your regular shopping from your actual recurring bills like monthly software, gym memberships, or bi-monthly invoices.Even more with Lums AI

A platform ( canivibecodeit) recently went viral on X for showing which paid tools you could realistically rebuild yourself.
Design tools, ChatGPT, or Claude are obviously hard to replace. But invoice tools, forms, simple CMSs, or dictation apps seem much more realistic.

Ever tapped "Join" on a favorite creator's channel? Those $4.99 memberships are subscriptions too and the easiest ones to forget you're paying.

Hey everybody,
Yigit here! I am developing a personal finance app mainly based on what features I wish an app to have and it is on google play closed test now. Here is a quick summary:The app's main value proposition is being able to keep track of your expenses 'automatically'. The rationale behind is the fact that in my country banking laws restrict individual's access to open banking apis. That is, you cannot have an API access to your bank to exchange information and keep track of your expenses unless you are corporate. According to my research, this feature is available in US and EU but only with certain restrictions in the latter.
I thought it could be sutaible time to ask the community about their needs about such an app and can guide me a long way before I commit further. Would you be so kind enough to answer below questions? Any replies are appreciated and thanks in advance.
Do you use personal finance app?
Could you please share your the most essential must-have features of the personal finance app of your choise and tell me why?
Under which circumstances would you give another app a try?
What would be the ideal price point for such a service in your perspective?

How are you covering the monthly costs of building your B2C or B2B startup? The virtual office, phone service, domain hosting, Supabase or Firebase, and other recurring expenses add up. How do you fund these odds and ends, and what cost-saving hacks help you get the most bang for your proverbial buck before revenue starts coming in?
I have two startups, so the overhead can be overwhelming. Still, I decided long ago that it was in my best financial interest to focus primarily on my startup needs and find free workarounds for my wants. For example, Canva is a low-cost design service, but I opted for a free Affinity account for most of my immediate needs. It requires more manual labor and a bit of design skill, but I m saving $15-$20/month. It s minimal, but I would rather spend that $20/month on Resend for my email needs than on design extras. How are you managing?

Two things I'm curious about:
How do you monitor your apps for issues and keep track of costs across paid services? Especially if you want to avoid any unexpected bills.
When adding a new feature, how do you figure out which services to use? And do you find the setup process annoying enough to slow you down?

Maybe this post will help makers understand how much people are willing to spend, what products are useful to them, and what the main motive for buying is.
I personally try to keep track of how much and what I spend. Before I invest in something, I consider:
what will be the return on it (i.e. whether I will earn something by buying/investing in a product),
whether it will be profitable for me in the long term,
whether it will save me time.

Lums hit #11 organically on Product Hunt yesterday! A massive thank you to everyone who supported us by upvoting, commenting, and downloading the app.
The launch conversations highlighted one thing we ve felt since day one: most budgeting apps ask for way too much effort before giving you any value.
Usually, you download an app and spend the next hour fixing categories, adjusting settings, and correcting transactions. By the time you're "set up," you've already lost the motivation that made you download it in the first place.
@yulia_kuznetsova3 put it perfectly! She said she added her accounts to Lums and it just showed her where her money was going. No fixing things first. Just clarity. @selina4 shared something similar. After months of bills piling up and small charges slipping by, having everything side-by-side finally made things click.

I ve been on this platform for almost three years without interruption, reviewing dozens of products every day. I try many of them, but only a few have become part of my daily routine, ones I can t imagine living without.
I will pin, for example, 3 of them:
@TabMagic - Bookmark & Tab Manager I no longer need 500 tabs open; I can save them to my dashboard and close my entire browser.

Many of us appreciate tools that save us time or money in our businesses. But there are also projects out there with a bigger mission (improving lives, supporting the planet, and helping those in need, to name a few).
Do you know of any inspiring projects that aim to make the world a better place?

Hey everyone,
I m curious to know: What are some of the apps, tools, or services you ve discovered that have truly transformed the way you work or build your startup/product, or basically helped you in day-to-day work productivity? It could be anything from project management, productivity hacks, automation, communication, or even wellness tools that help you stay focused.

I see a lot of tech products on Product Hunt that are meant to improve someone else's business situation, and as many makers as possible are ideally targeting the B2B market.
However, this past week I've also seen a lot of "fun" products that not only made it into the featured category but also earned one of the product of the day titles.

Yesterday @fmerian recommended Googly Eyes from @Sindre Sorhus, which I immediately downloaded! After enjoying the eyes following my cursor around for the day, that got me thinking - what other fun, goofy apps do you all have for your Mac, Chrome, or other devices that don't necessarily serve a purpose other than to bring joy and break the monotony? @Scroll Buddy is another one that comes to mind that I have saved in a collection.
We see productivity apps, AI-based software, open-source products, etc. all the time, but what about your saved products someone made after their 9-5 or on a weekend just to have fun and test their skills?

Hello everyone!
My friend s mother lost around $40K on a fraudulent crypto investment. She believed she had found a golden opportunity and risked all her savings, only to be devastated when the scam unfolded. Witnessing her pain and financial loss, I both a coder and a cybersecurity specialist realized something had to change.
That's why I created StopScam: Scam Detector Pro. I built this app to provide a reliable tool for protecting your hard-earned money. With StopScam, you can manually upload screenshots, images, or take photos of digital content, physical letters, and even PDF files. Our advanced AI, machine vision, and OCR technology analyze them for scam signals.
I first installed StopScam for my family and close friends, ensuring they would never face the same hardship. And this is just the beginning! In the near future, I plan to add even more useful features to further safeguard your loved ones from fraud. StopScam is designed to be your comprehensive shield against scams, keeping you one step ahead of fraudsters.
