This is the first and only app I pay for :D Sometimes it can feel like a chore to do stuff that is good for you and this app takes that away for me. I teaches you gently and pleasantly and Ive been able to stick to it and understand more about how minds work. It helped me stop biting my nails.

I think this app offers the most value if you are not willing to spend money and just want a free meditation app that is up to the quality that other paid services provide. And the narrations are top notch!!

After hours of watching this Laptop screen, a better treatment to mind and soul is required.

And with Calm I enjoy this peace of mind.

Excellent app for meditation. if I were to choose among insight timer, headspace, calm, and oak, I'd choose Oak. This app beats every other app in terms of its balance between simplicity and unobtrusiveness. The best app for meditation is here, and you do not need to waste money on anything else.

I love Oak for keeping the meditation techniques simple and effective. I find most apps too noisy or expensive. This one strikes the right balance. Makes a i-hate-meditation person like me want to sit down for a daily session. Love everything about Oak.

    Somnox

World’s first sleep robot to improve sleep

Not really an app, but rather a companion! With Somnox, we want to create a world where smart soft robotics will make a major difference in people's daily health and happiness. Our Sleep Robot is the first step into that direction. With the Somnox Sleep Robot, we reduce stress and anxiety by simulating human-like breathing techniques. By feeling the breathing of the robot, your own breathing pattern synchronizes to that of the robot. Thus making you more relaxed and thus fall asleep faster. Also, soothing sounds like meditative music and ambient sounds can bring you to more calmer thoughts. However, our robot is not only meant for sleeping, but also for taking a small pause from work by taking an afternoon nap, or by putting your mind off with the robot guiding you through your favorite meditation. LMK your thoughts :)

This product does more than help you meditate, it uses mental models and behavioural tools to help you build the habits and routines into your day that will create more happiness, fulfillment & joy in your life, telling you exactly what it is doing and why along the way.

I appreciate what Fabulous is trying to do, and I think this direction is actually really interesting. However, bundling "you agree to our TOS by continuing" with the CTA for setting a wake-up time, or using weirdly-worded false choice options ("Yes I want to succeed" for enabling notifications) inherently makes me distrust the intentions and motivations of the app. It feels psychologically manipulative in an opaque way, whereas something like this should - in my opinion - edge towards transparency.
