    The Great Suspender

Auto-suspend inactive tabs to reduce memory usage of chrome

Tejas KingerPMM @ Hiver | Prev. @ Freshworks · Written
As much as I love Chrome, I detest its memory usage. :( It would nearly kill my older Mac which had 4 gigs of RAM. The Great Suspender however, helped in reducing the memory consumption by a H-U-G-E margin, making things a lot more manageable.

Free Chrome (and Firefox) extension to convert all of your open tabs into a list. I can name certain groupings of tabs to better separate them and I can have pinned tabs.

    LastPass 4.0

    UI overhaul. Emergency access.

    Olivia IsaacsFreelance Dev/Designer · Written
Needed a password manager that was easy to use in both Chrome and iOS Safari, and the free tier of LastPass checks all my boxes. While I do miss AutoFill, I feel much better knowing all my passwords are strong and secure.
