Best privacy friendly project management tool?

Hi product hunt fam, I'm looking for something like Asana or Trello but privacy friendly. In both asana and trello, it is clearly written that employees can access our contents for fixing any problem or to enhance user experience. That is pure...you know. I don't want that. I want complete control. They are like they will see and access the boards, contents and everything like there is no privacy of business notes as well as personal notes. Wow! There is a similar chrome extension like trello and it's privacy policy is the same. I forgot the name. If you remember a couple of years ago Evernote openly said that they can access our notes and things which made people angry and Evernote losing a fair amount of subscribers which led them to quickly change the privacy policy and I am sure that they still do it but don't acknowledge openly. I'm looking for a privacy-friendly project management tool and it would be better if it is a standalone windows software (like trello's app) and can be operated offline too. Any recommendations? Thanks in advance. These companies are following the footsteps of big tech giants like MS and google but mark my words, they soon will come down. Many people are moving to open source nowadays. It's just a matter of time.

    Nuclino

Part knowledge base, part collaboration space 🧠

We've been using Nuclino and from what I gathered on their privacy policy, they have no access to your actual content within the app. They are also based in Europe which makes them subject to much more stringent privacy laws, including GDPR.

Maybe Zenkit is what you are looking for. It's a project management tool with different data views like kanban or spreadsheet. Because Zenkit is a product of a German company, we are completely GDPR compliant and have no access to your data. If you have problems, we normally ask for screenshots of the error message in your browser. If there is a special problem we sometimes get invited to private collections but without permission, we are doing nothing. It's all up to you. Zenkti is available as WebApp, Desktop and Mobile App, syncs between devices and got an offline feature.

Try Hygger.io. As for me and my colleagues, we believe that this platform looks like a beneficial alternative to Trello. You can find many examples of using Trello boards for common office tasks and issues, however, Agile Software development requires much more. Hygger is a fully featured Kanban platform that propose to use such features as Work in progress limits option, Swimlanes that can be visualized as Blockers (the most urgent issues), current Tasks and Bugs and Someday swimlane (tasks that will likely never be implemented), Burndown chart and many other useful tools and features. Besides, you will find simple and attractive kanban-like boards, roadmaps and 4 powerful prioritization frameworks there.
