I've been using Hello Inbox and following Hans's recommendations for nearly a year, and it has completely transformed the way I approach email marketing. It changed not only how I think about deliverability but also how I structure my emails and communicate with our clients 6–10 times each month.
The results have been impressive. Since implementing the HI strategies, our open rates have increased by approximately 15%, and our click-through rates have improved by around 2%.
I genuinely recommend Hello Inbox to anyone struggling with email deliverability or looking to improve the performance of their email campaigns. I've already recommended it to several people facing the same challenges I once had, and I wouldn't hesitate to do so again.
Can users compare campaigns over time and see which changes actually improved their inbox placement?
Hello Inbox
@khaildnaseem As long as you test those campaigns with our Inbox Placement Test feature, then yes. Those tests will be saved in your account and our AI can access them all. So you can simply ask it "What changed?". If you want to test it, try our 7-day free trial for the Professional plan and perform a few tests. Let me know what you think. All feedback is welcome, good or bad.
What about the harder cases though? Sometimes there’s no clear reason an email ends up in spam.
Hello Inbox
@grace_gui02 Hi Grace, valid question. The AI was trained on all my deliverability knowledge and hundreds of real use cases from the last 5 years, so it's quite good at troubleshooting, however, when there is an edge case, there is always a human to fallback to - me. We will then use those edge cases to further train and improve the AI so it will continuously improve over time.
I’d want to know what kind of access you need to actually make the fixes. That could be a problem for some people.
Hello Inbox
@bouzadamanuel0934 Hey Manuel, I get what you mean. Currently Hello Inbox doesn't require access to your ESP to make changes. It gives you clear instructions on what to do, in plain language. I understand your question is about privacy. I do plan on integrating API's for the biggest email service providers in the near future, if it makes sense. And privacy is definitely something I'll need to consider.

Hello Inbox
@odeth_negapatan1 Hi Odeth, valid question. Several ways:
1. Keep updating our RAG (Retrieval Augmented Generation) database with fresh data
2. Continuously testing ourselves (we dogfood our own product)
3. Staying on top of changes announced by the big mail providers
4. Talking to customers (we offer free support calls to our Pro and Business users)
Does it make sense to use this if I’m just starting my email marketing or should I wait for a certain size?
Hello Inbox
@tyler_reiser Hey Tyler, yes, 100%. Probably better TBH because this way you can start by doing it right instead of trying to fix something broken that's hurting your revenue. If you're starting out the Professional plan will be sufficient and only $49/month but highly worth it. Generating engagement early with your new subscribers is a great way to continue landing in their inboxes. So if you're just starting out, create a highly engaging welcome nurture sequence. Each email in the sequence should provide the solution to a pain-point or frustration that your product/service solves for the client. Hello Inbox can help you generate this nurture sequence. Start by creating a sender profile in your Hello Inbox account so our AI knows what your business does then use the following prompt in the dashboard.
I’d probably use the monitoring the most. You fix something and then a few weeks later it can go sideways again.
Hello Inbox
@trevor_loy23 Hey Trevor, yes 100%. People forget, they're too busy, etc. Instead of manually checking your domain/ip rep or spam rate in Google Postmaster Tools, Hello Inbox will automatically alert you. Would love for you to try it out and get your feedback.
I’ve used stuff like this before and got flooded with data. Still didn’t know what I should fix first.
Hello Inbox
@nathan_holdstein36 Hey Nathan, yah, that's what I learned after speaking to hundreds of clients over the last 4-5 years. Tech fatigue is real, and people are tired of trying to figure things out. They just want someone competent to tell them what do to. That's when it clicked for me, the problem isn't a lack of tooling, it's the knowledge gap and how to apply it.
