Recently started short-form content on YouTube
sorry for bad english 😅
Recently started posting short-form content on YouTube and honestly, at first, I had no idea what I was doing. I’d just post whenever I finished editing — sometimes morning, sometimes 2am.
Some videos got views, others completely flopped. I thought it was just luck.
Then one day I started noticing something… when I posted around certain hours, my videos performed way better. It wasn’t just random — the time actually mattered.
That was kinda crazy to me. It felt like I found a cheat code no one was talking about.
But there wasn’t really any good tool to test or track this stuff. So, just out of curiosity, I built a small API and a mini app for myself. Nothing fancy, just something to see how posting times affected reach.
And it actually worked. Like, really worked.
That’s when I thought — maybe I’m not the only one who needs this. Maybe other creators could use the same thing to figure out their best posting times too.
So I decided to take it a bit further and made ShortsIQ.
It started as something small, just for myself. But now it’s slowly growing into something that can actually help other creators post smarter, not harder.
Still learning, still building, but honestly, it’s been a fun ride so far. 🚀
