QuickTime can mirror a phone, but it does not provide a fast screenshot-to-folder-and-clipboard workflow, and many wireless approaches depend on cloud services. TetherShot captures the actual iPhone frame over USB or local Wi-Fi, then saves it directly to your chosen folder and copies it to the clipboard. You can capture from the native Mac app, optional menu-bar controls, or with ⌘⇧7 from anywhere. It supports per-device folders, launch at login, and automatic updates—without an account, analytics, cloud uploads, or external servers. Everything stays on your Mac.
