Thanks @kevin for hunting us!
👋 I’m Rukmangada(KR), CEO at Testsigma. I’m thrilled to bring Testsigma to the early adopters here on ProductHunt!
We’ve launched a self-hosted, open source test automation platform that has everything you need to get started without any complex setup or integration effort.
❌ Why current test automation is broken
➨We know from firsthand experience that the modern test stack is fragmented. It has too many moving parts to be easy to set up and scale.
➨Given there are so many use cases, languages and app types, test automation becomes overwhelmingly complex & time consuming to the point where it becomes its own development project!
➨Today’s test stacks have made test automation more about writing and maintaining scripts than about taking quality software to market as quickly as possible.
✅ Our solution
Testsigma is an open source test automation platform for Agile teams that’s simple, works out of the box, and is extremely easy to use. Here are the key tenets of our platform:
➨1. Built to replace individual, specialized tools in a complex test stack
➨2. Create tests 5X faster for web apps, native Android and iOS apps, and APIs.
➨3. Extend and customize it without complex frameworks or coding
➨4. Enables everyone in product teams to collaborate right from test development
You can find our source code here:

🏗️ How it works
Our platform’s foundation is built with the modern Test automation workflow in mind. Here’s how you can create an automated test in just a few minutes:
➨1. Deploy self-hosted instance using docker image
➨2. Write test scripts in simple English or convert user scenarios into editable steps without any code
➨3. Run infra-less tests directly on the cloud on various browsers and devices.
➨4. Check step-wise results & detailed reports right after your execution
➨5. One-click integrations with Jenkins JIRA, Slack, Trello and several other tools.
🛠️ Customize and Extend without limits
Testsigma can be customized and extended endlessly using community powered add-ons that can be instantly installed in your instance. In our marketplace you can:
➨ 1. Find & use add-ons for automation actions such as PDF actions, link finder etc.
➨2. Find & use data generators for random numbers, strings and date functions etc..
➨3. Custom actions, data generators you can build yourself using Testsigma SDKs
Looking forward to your feedback!
Thanks!
TestSigma is not a new product, it's been around for years, and it seems to grow very slowly. The no-code test automation market already has a lot of great tools, such as Endtest and others.
@ernesttheroy Hi! Thank you for the feedback!
It took us some time to build the complete product open-sourced today. The current platform enables end-to-end testing for Web apps, Mobile Apps, APIs and a few more use cases. We discussed the idea publicly(might be why you've heard of us before) from day one because we wanted to co-develop with the product's end-users. We don't want to build another closed no-code test automation tool but create a scalable test automation platform for new age teams that grow with their application.
Also, the current test automation problem is beyond just having no-code tools, and it needs a collaborative approach to bridge the gap between development and testing permanently. That is why we chose the Open Source route. We welcome everyone to contribute and help build a new-age test automation platform.

Congratulations Testsigma team. It's so cool to see so many open source products being built out of India now. And testing really needed one. I still remember by Microsoft Office days where an army of SDETs used to manually tap on 50 mobile test cases every time I checked-in code🙈.
Your product should help evolve the upcoming generation of QA and Test. All the best on the launch!
@silvi_hambardzumian Yes, It is very easy ti use, built for everyone to automate testing. If you find it difficult to set up Open Source, try our cloud hosted version here(https://testsigma.com). Later once you are familiar ready to implement for your team you can set up Open Source Version.
Give it a try and let me know if you need any help.
