Tabstack by Mozilla - Pricing Plans

by

Tabstack's pricing recently evolved for more control and flexibility.

Clear, consistent billing with a free 10k credit trial, pay-as-you-go individual plan, or predictable monthly subscriptions. Build without interruption and scale at your own pace.

Curious what your preferences are? Pay-as-you-go plans or monthly subscriptions?

is a web data and automation API that delivers reliable structured output. They launched today two new API endpoints, /extract and /generate, to extract web data into structured JSON files.

I’d choose pay-as-you-go for the first stage. With extraction APIs, usage is often unpredictable while you’re still testing sources, formats, and workflows.

Once the process becomes stable and predictable, monthly subscriptions make much more sense.

awesome! looking forward to seeing what you're building with

I'd also start with pay-as-you-go, see how much I actually use it and then decide if it's reasonable for my situation to switch to monthly plan

I think that it's great to offer both pay as you go as well as a subscription - it lets folks try it out without feeling like they have to do a big commitment and then have an option that makes sense once they realize how powerful the product actually is.

exactly - clear billing that scales at your own pace. a trial tier that includes 10,000 free credits for everyone to experiment with without any friction, an individual plan (pay as you go) for unpredictable volumes, and a monthly subscription for consistent, high volume needs.

Congrats on the launch, team! 🎉

I got so into Tabstack that I built a CLI for it — tabstack-cli — live on stream while team were talking about PH launch. It's a Bun-native CLI that wraps the Tabstack API so you can drive it straight from your terminal: tabstack login, fetch and extract pages, run automations, all without leaving the shell.

The fun part: the very first thing it extracted was your own Product Hunt launch page — Tabstack pulling Tabstack's launch stats through its own API. Very snake-eating-its-own-tail in the best way. 🐍

brilliant! fun fact: there actually is an official Tabstack CLI -

should they launch it on Product Hunt? would love your input in . spoiler alert 🙈

Quick update: is launching their official CLI (and more) today.

Pay-as-you-go for onboarding, subscriptions for scaling. Giving users the choice is probably the best pricing strategy for developer tools since usage patterns can vary so much in the early stages. Congrats on the update!

yes! and there's a trial tier including 10,000 free credits to start playing around without any friction
