If you don't use GMail or you don't want this app accessing your emails, you're out of luck.
Pros:
The UI looks nice.
Cons:
App requires having access to your GMail account.

It’s supposed to be tracking my usps package and it’s been stuck in the destination for 4 days while usps actually just notified me the package is on my zip code’s sorting facility... go figure! USPS between than this 😂
@robjama and team solved a tricky complex everyday problem here in a really simple way. Congrats! Excited to watch this grow 👊🏼

I've been beta testing Arrive for some time now and can vouch that it has improved my online shopping experience. No longer do I need to go back into my emails or Amazon to figure out what's going on with order. All my orders are in one place for me to keep track easily.
Pros:
One app to keep track of all my orders; helpful notifications on updates — especially when there are issues; easy to setup and start using.
Cons:
Expand Gmail sniff terms to ensure all emails that have shipping information are pulled into Arrive.

Do you guys sell individual shopping data to marketers and data miners like Slice? I read the privacy policy, it’s not the case currently, but I wonder if it’s in a future plan.
@chiancheng Hey Cheng! Good question. We designed Arrive with a privacy-first approach.
Arrive only syncs information directly related to your packages - like the tracking number, mail carrier, product info - and uses that data to organize your deliveries for you. We take privacy very seriously and do not (and will never) share, disclose, or sell personal information.

@chiancheng@robjama What about selling personal information anonymously?Your privacy policy says
"We do not and will never share, disclose, sell, rent, or otherwise provide Personal Information to other companies for the marketing of their own products or services."
But does that mean that you can share our data to company who may use this to enhance their product like for example Uber bought data from Slice to see how many lyft rides their users were making.
Great idea and the design looks splendid! Only wish you didn't require email integration - I don't personally use Gmail for online purchases, and even if I did I'm a little hesitant to give other services access to my emails. Would love for there to be an option to manually input tracking numbers.

Finally excited to see Arrive arrive. I got to see the development of the app over the past few months and its come a long way since the first time I saw it. Its become especially needed since I moved to SF as the package tracking for Amazon, UPS, et al has been inaccurate and a chore. Really great opportunity to make shipping less ship for the average consumer.
Love the UI but just make the Gmail access permission optional
Pros:
Arrive is by far the fastest to update on shipment tracking. I use a few apps at once to track my packages, and Arrive is the fastest by far
Cons:
Biggest fallback is it only works if you give access to read my Gmail emails. There should be a way to manually paste my tracking number.

The website it supported was fraudulent. Thank God my bank’s fraud department took care of this issue; however, the app should have a way to detect fraud and alert customer.
