I originally made this as a telegram bot that I could use for myself! I found it very useful so I made this for everyone to use! I hope you use it, to me it's really useful and helps my mental health and wellbeing.
I wish I could have made it free, but of course the OpenAI API is not free... If the pricing changes I'll definitely change the prices :) Who knows, maybe in the near future we can switch to an on-device LLM and stop paying completely! I'm happy to give away some* free trials manually, so just reach out if interested.

Outside of the basics, like HTTPS, TLS and tokenization, the entries & messages you send to the backend are encrypted and only decrypted (in an isolated service) the moment just before sending them to OpenAI (and OpenAI has their own privacy policy that we adhere to). The amount of data decrypted is the minimum required so that OpenAI can give a proper response, therefore there's no PII (Personally identifiable information) whatsoever anywhere.
@albert_c Just installed it. Nice user experience and onboarding you have there. The lock feature is great. I'll use it for a couple of days and give some feedback! Congrats on the launch again!

I have been using the app for a few days now, great initiative! 👍 Interesting that you can choose different personalities to 'talk with'. The tags are a practical way to summarize the journal entry.
Another detail that I appreciate is the dark mode, as journaling is mostly something I do at night, combined with the soothing UI.
