I realized I spend more time deciding what to cook than actually cooking

Hey everyone
I built ScanCook after realizing I spend more time deciding what to cook than actually cooking.
You just scan your food and get recipes + calories instantly.
Goal: less food waste, faster decisions, healthier eating.
Would love your honest feedback what s missing?

Everyone uses ChatGPT to plan trips now. So why am I building a travel app?

AI gives you a decent itinerary fast. But it's still a text list in a chat window. No curated places you can actually trust. No day-by-day structure you can browse on your phone when you're on the ground. No narrative that tells you why a place matters.

EuroTrails is a mobile app for European city breaks; focused purely on places and the plan:

  • Browse curated European attractions

  • Save what appeals to you

  • Get a day-by-day itinerary built from your picks

  • A short story for each day so you arrive with context, not just coordinates

  • Directions open in Google Maps familiar and reliable

Reduced Recipes — Skip the Tuscany story. Get to the ingredients.

I love cooking food, but these damn online recipe websites have always been driving me insane.

Ads stacked on ads. Videos that start playing before the page loads. A 2,000-word personal essay about a holiday in Tuscany before you see a single ingredient.

So I built something about it.

Recipe data cannot be copyrighted. Ingredients, method, timings are factual information. They belong to everyone. So I built a crawler that extracts exactly that and discards everything else. A couple of days later I had a fully distributed architecture on Cloudflare at roughly 1/100th the cost of a conventional AWS setup.

We built SurfedIn because great independents are invisible online

Independent consultants, builders, and solopreneurs have a discovery problem.

Not a talent problem. Not a quality problem. A visibility problem.

LinkedIn rewards posting frequency. Upwork and Fiverr race to the bottom on price. Personal sites are invisible without an SEO budget. There is no neutral place to simply exist professionally and be found by the right person at the right moment.

SurfedIn is that place. A public, searchable directory for independents. Sign in with LinkedIn, build your page, list your work and rates, and let Google and AI do the rest. No algorithm, no feed, no DMs. Every profile is a real indexed URL findable before the person knows you exist.

What If Users Could Simply Talk To Your App?

Hey everyone I m Wisdom, a developer with a background in game development, interactive systems, and AI driven experiences. Over the years I ve worked across multiplayer games, Web3 products, virtual assistants, and real time interactive applications. Recently, I started building Engage AI, a platform that lets developers turn their apps into intelligent AI interfaces that can perform real actions through natural language. Instead of navigating through menus, buttons, and pages, users can simply speak to the app naturally. Examples: Book me a flight to my previous destination Send 20,000 to mom Order my usual lunch Find healthy food options near me Summarize everything this blog says about AI agents I am craving something spicy what's available" The AI works around the existing capabilities, content, and workflows of an application, making apps feel more natural and human to interact with. Right now, I m looking for developers, founders, and product teams willing to test it out and give honest feedback, especially around: - Integration experience - AI actions and reliability - UX and usability - Potential use cases - What feels missing or confusing Would genuinely appreciate any feedback or ideas You can test it here: https://engageai.tech

Say goodbye to sneaky sodium traps & deceptive nutrition labels!

Hey Product Hunt community!

If you ve ever been told to watch your salt intake for your heart health, you know how incredibly frustrating it is. Deceptive serving sizes, hidden sodium in "healthy" foods, and tedious mental math make grocery shopping feel like a chore.

I built Sodi to be the ultimate, privacy-first sodium tracker and smart label scanner that handles all the heavy lifting for you.

What makes Sodi different:

Why habit streaks are actually killing your motivation (and what works instead)

I used to be obsessed with streaks.

30-day challenges. Unbroken chains. "Don't break the streak."

And every single time around day 8 or day 12 life happened. I missed one day. Streak gone. And somehow, that felt worse than never starting at all. So I just... stopped.

While building VersionMe, I started looking into why this happens.

Basivis — Deterministic Vision Analysis

Basivis analyzes the structure of any vision across four fields: direction, tragline, elements and constraints. It does not learn, store or infer. Every request is isolated and produces a predictable structural profile.

Basivis is built for people who want clarity without noise founders, strategists, architects, writers, and anyone who needs to understand the structure behind what they want to build.

What it returns:

  • integrity levels

  • blindspots

  • tension

  • signals

  • structural score
