I’m Thami, Moroccan founder, engineer, real estate investor, husband, father, and CEO of Mailwarm. I started building before I even knew the word “startup”. Over the years, I tested ideas, worked as product manager, invested in real estate, and learned by launching, failing, selling, rebuilding, and trying again. In 2020, Mailwarm became #1 Product of the Day on PH and went from around $3K MRR to $8K MRR in one week. Today, I’m building the strongest email deliverability company in the world, for humans and AI agents. Outside of work, I live between Paris, Dubai, and Tangier, train regularly, spend time with family, and stay deeply connected to the Moroccan founder community. What is your strategy for meeting new people?

As you get older, it feels like meeting new people is becoming harder when moving to another country. I am speaking about your professional network and friendships.

Everyone has their own techniques.

On my side, here are my techniques:
1/ When moving to a new city, looking for alumni in the city.
2/ If I know someone in the city, being transparent and asking them to introduce me to their circle.
3/ Social events like meetups.
