Working as a designer sounds simple: you design a landing page, you ship it, everyone s happy. But in reality, designing is the fast part. Everything around it is painfully slow. You can design a great landing page in a couple of hours, a few days, or sometimes weeks. But before you even open Figma, you need discovery calls to understand the product and audience. Then comes the structure, the alignment, the references, the decisions about direction.

You start your first iteration and it doesn t feel right. When the design is finally approved, you hand it off to development. You create specs and styles, the developer builds it, something s off, more fixes, more waiting. And when the page finally goes live, the client might still say: It looked better when you showed it to us. Can we adjust a few things?

So that one fun day of pure design becomes almost a month. I like fast, creative work and quick feedback loops. This process was the opposite of that.

How do you currently organize files across multiple projects when they're scattered across OneDrive, network drives, and local folders? Or do you just not?

Curious how other people handle this. I'm working on 3-4 projects at once (engineering consultant) and my files are everywhere, some PDFs in OneDrive, Excel sheets on my desktop, CAD files on a network drive. I spend way too much time just finding things.

Do you have a system that actually works? Or is everyone else also just navigating deep folder trees 10 times a day and pretending it's fine?

Been thinking about this for a while and wanted a sanity check from people who actually deal with this.

Every time I need to vet a creator before sending product or payment, I either eyeball it manually (follower growth, comment quality, vibes) or I'd need to pay for something like HypeAuditor or Modash which start at $200-300+/month. That makes sense if you're running huge programs with hundreds of creators, but feels like overkill if you're just checking [NUMERO REALE, es. "a handful of creators a month"].

I keep wondering if there's room for something much simpler: you punch in a creator's public stats (followers, avg likes, avg comments, recent growth) and get a quick risk score + red flags, no $300/month commitment. Free for occasional use, maybe $19/month or a one-time fee for people who vet more regularly.

Hey everyone. Quick bit of context before the pitch: MarketFlux didn't start as a media product. My co-founders and I were running an algorithmic futures trading desk, and the thing that kept costing us money wasn't bad strategy, it was bad information arriving too late or unstructured. So we built our own pipeline to fix that for ourselves, real-time news aggregation with AI sentiment scoring, ticker tagging, and topic classification, and it slowly turned into an actual product over the past few years.

The newest piece is an MCP API, so Claude, Cursor, Windsurf, or Cline can query our live news and sentiment data directly instead of someone copy-pasting headlines into a chat window by hand, which is what we kept seeing our own users do.

I kept generating images with Gemini for client work and presentations, but the watermark always got in the way. Every tool I tried required uploading the image to a server which felt wrong when the images contained unreleased project visuals.

So I built Gemini Watermark Remover https://geminiwatermarkremover.cc . The entire process runs in the browser using a lightweight local engine. No server, no storage, no account needed.

The hardest part was getting clean pixel restoration on complex photo backgrounds without a heavy AI model. The current approach uses edge detection and local patch reconstruction fast enough to finish in seconds, light enough to run in any modern browser.
