It s a decision engine for teams that review RFPs, RFQs, grants, bids, procurement opportunities, and similar revenue opportunities.

Two weeks ago I was in an off-site meeting when the client asked for a file on my office PC. I opened WhatsApp and texted my own computer: 'Find the Q1 projections and send it here.' Two minutes later it was in my chat.

The idea is pretty simple: AI agents can already access files on your computer, but video and audio are still largely black boxes. A folder full of 10,000 videos isn t very useful to an agent if it doesn t know what actually happens inside them.

Most AI video products focus on the final output: generating clips, adding captions, or automating edits.

With Someple, we re working on an earlier and less visible part of the workflow the decisions that happen before editing begins.

Before someone can edit a long video, they usually need to:

• Understand what happened across the entire recording

• Find the moments that are actually worth using

• Organize the main topics and narrative

• Decide what kind of content can be created from the footage

• Communicate that direction to an editor or production team

Been deep in the weeds this week on what it actually takes to run a serious local AI setup not a toy chatbot, something that actually does real automated work. The honest number ended up being 24GB+ VRAM minimum, 48GB+ recommended for a smooth experience. That's not "install an app," that's "own real hardware."

Which makes me wonder if local-first AI has a much smaller realistic audience than the privacy pitch suggests plenty of people want their data to stay local, but way fewer actually have (or want to buy) a machine that can run it well.

We built Aven because choosing a career is still surprisingly confusing.

You can find thousands of career tests online. Most ask you a bunch of questions, give you a personality type, and leave you with a list of jobs.

We wanted to build something more useful.

I've spent the last decade in eCommerce and media buying, and for the past 8 months I've been building omnicheckout.app on top of an event tracking system I already had running. End result is a checkout platform that lets merchants take payments in environments where a processor ban would otherwise be a business-ending event, with world-class tracking built in underneath rather than bolted on. Stripe and Whop are the two processing partners live on it today, and merchants can either run their whole setup through us or plug in their own integration and let us just manage that connection.

I built this mostly by directing AI on architecture while learning TypeScript, terminal, and databases alongside it, which is enough for me to chase down real issues fast when they show up. Current focus is hardening the payment webhook logging so observability is airtight.

What I need now is someone who can actually sell and promote this, because that's not me. Looking for a co-founder or COO for that role. I'm also open to a UI/UX designer, since I can hold my own on design but not against someone who's built a career on it. Both are equity-only right now since we're not funded, the company is an LLC moving to a C corp shortly, and there's provisional patent coverage on identity resolution and edge technology, some of it close to expiring and already positioned to convert to utility patents cheaply.
