A small Mac tool for the overlap between ChatGPT Voice and Apple Music

I built Oreja after getting tired of reaching for Apple Music every time a ChatGPT voice reply started. It watches the selected app's output level locally, pauses Music while the reply is active, then brings it back after the quiet interval. There is also a lower-volume mode.

The whole thing is intentionally small. No OpenAI API, account, recording, transcript, analytics, or network service. The repository is open source, and the audio path feeds transient levels into a deterministic coordinator.

It is still an early macOS preview. It supports Apple Music and ChatGPT desktop first, browser sources are experimental, and I have not yet completed a supervised live ChatGPT Voice test.

I am looking for Mac users who combine music and voice AI and can tell me where the timing or onboarding falls short.

Small Mac tools that fix one daily annoyance are my favorite kind. I've built a few myself for the same reason, including my own terminal. How stable is the browser side? Most of my music is YouTube Music.
