Screen Studio - Beautiful screen recordings in minutes

Screen Studio makes your mouse movement smooth, automatically zooms in on clicks, applies cinematic motion blur to all the animations, and adds beautiful background around your recording. In a minute your recording becomes a high-quality promotional video.

Hi! Videos are everywhere, yet it is still hard to make them. What's even more annoying when creating 'app videos' - they get outdated quickly because the UI of our new apps changes rapidly, while it is usually hard to edit old videos, and often people who created them are not available anymore. 2 months ago I realized that most of the time when creating "promo" videos of digital products (aka. screen recordings) you simply want the camera to follow the mouse cursor in some way and add some subtle animations and layout effects on top of it to make the video somewhat beautiful. I believe if something can be explained simply - it can be automated. And the idea of Screen Studio was born. The app is pretty simple. You record your screen as you usually do. Under the hood, Screen Studio records 2 layers of your screen - one with the cursor hidden and one only containing your cursor coordinates. Thanks to that, it is possible to perform a lot of magic in automated 'post-production'. Cursor movement is smoothened; its size can be changed, etc. On top of that - all your clicks are precisely measured during recording to calculate optimal animations of zooms in your recording. Video is often ready for export with 0 input after clicking "Stop recording", but it is possible to adjust moments of video that are zoomed in, and a bunch of other things like layout (horizontal, vertical for things like stories), colors, etc. The general idea was - what're the most that can it do while still being a super simple tool. Currently, it is available for macOS - if it'll be successful and able to sustain my life - it is very likely Windows version will be released. Screen Studio is still a pretty young product (I invite you to check Roadmap), thus all your feedback is really valuable to me. Thank you!

Looks awesome! Can't wait to use it for my next presentation. The logo resembles the one of Onion Browser for iOS, but not a big deal in my opinion :)
