Hi Product Hunters!
Amit and I founded SaferVPN because we believe that everyone should have unlimited, unrestricted access to the Internet.
Unfortunately, over 60 countries have some extent of Internet censorship and even if you do have open access to the Internet, many connections are not secure— you could be subject to privacy breaches from snoopers and hackers.
We believe that our product should be accessible to all— so we’ve worked hard to ensure that the service is fast, and super easy to use. SaferVPN allows you to virtually reside anywhere in the world with a single click connection.
SaferVPN apps are available for Mac, Windows, Android, iOS and routers. We recently launched a new iOS app and we’re offering Product Hunters up to 55% off all subscriptions!

We’d be happy to answer any questions you all have!
@sagigidali is this still available? 55% lifetime?

Personally I can highly recommend www.privateinternetaccess.com I use it all day everyday on all devices and it's never let me down. It would take a lot for a VPN to change that and I also don't mind paying if things just work.
@kinnth Hi Tom, I completely understand what you're saying. You are more than welcome to try SaferVPN's free trial. Our service not only 'works', it works fast & seamlessly. We've gone the extra mile to provide the best user experience for our customers and we think once you'll try it you will agree :)
@gonzocode@kinnth We do our absolute best to provide the fastest and simplest VPN service. By claiming our offer to Product Hunters you can enjoy a SaferVPN for a year at US$50.

Hi @sagigidali looks nice, especially the install and CustomerCare...I wonder how you deal with possible abuse of the net under "untraceable" usage? Does it work in places like China, Iran and the like?
@iritisraeli - Since it is impossible for us to determine which user causes specific traffic, we cannot identify customers responsible for abuse. If we receive abuse complaints we usually offer to block the destination so that no further abuse can take place. What we do log is minimal and limited to IP addresses and timestamps.
The product works in China, Iran and similar countries with high Internet censorship. We even partnered with NGO (Advancing Human Rights) to provide free VPN access to dissidents in such countries.
You can also refer to my Interview on PC World that talks about VPNs in China - http://www.pcworld.com/article/2...

I just read this on your site's blog... Pure gold! saving money while "surfing" on another country's IP: https://www.safervpn.com/blog/sa...
@sheynk Hi, Thanks for asking. My Co-Founder Amit has addressed the answer to your question in his response above - especially to the way that we manage our servers and unique approach in the VPN industry. I hope this is helpful and if you have any more questions don't hesitate to let me know.
@asherraph Hi Asher, We're based in Israel which is a leader in technological innovation and home to some of the brightest minds and engineers. And Tel Aviv, where our offices are based, is the world’s third best place for technology business. So here we’re not only exposed to the latest developments and cutting edge technology, but we’re also motivated to constantly think outside the box and push the limits of what appears to be possible. Moreover, Israel is a place that embraces freedom of expression, freedom of speech and of course, a free internet. These are values that are very important to us and very significant to what our company stands for.
I've been using SaferVPN over the past year to watch Israeli TV shows from the US, and it works like a charm. The software client for Mac is easy to set up and use. Highly recommended.
