What belongs in a pre-seed pitch deck that angels actually read?

by

Angels do not read 20 slides. They skim: what you do, why now, why you, and whether they even write this check.

A pre-seed deck that gets read has:

  1. Problem in one sentence a stranger can repeat

  2. A product screenshot, not a metaphor

  3. Why this founder

  4. Amount, use of funds, check size you want

  5. Proof you can sell: revenue, waitlist, or 10 real conversations

Skip the TAM hockey stick. If an angel cannot tell in 90 seconds that this is their stage and sector, the rest is noise.
