RemNote is just the best thing that ever happened to us lifelong learners. I've been using RemNote since November 2020 to prepare for my engineering interviews and all I have to say is WOW!! I can remember everything I have studied and have the added benefit of having well-structured notes that I can always refer to. Many will complain about the learning curve but once you get over that hurdle, the opportunities. You are learning to fly. You fall and tumble in the beginning but soon enough you'll be soaring above the clouds. I can tell the team behind it is really committed to improving the app because of the numerous and great updates we get on an almost daily basis. It's the first and last app I open everyday and can't wait to start using it to start learning a foreign language. Kudos Remnote!! 👍🏾

I have been using RemNote for a month and I really like it, I have been looking for a long time for an app like this, it has what I like of Workflowy ( the bullet system) plus the note taking and studying features. Another big plus is that I own my data, I can create bases directly from my local hard disk, so no data on the cloud. I have been learning CSS so the fact that I can customise the look of the interface, and that I can use my own fonts is another big plus.

Simple yet elegant. I love how once we learn the basics, the app enhances our productivity and study tremendously. To me, this is the best student app there is!

I'm a medical resident student and for the last years I've been trying new ways to take notes and retain information. I've tried handwriting on paper and on my tablet, digital note taking in different apps and others. I've been using Remnote for about 2 weeks now and it is by far the best app for studying. It took me a while to learn how to use it at first, I still check a few tutorials every now and then, but this app changed my life once I started to understand how it works. Being able to automatically create flashcards in just a few seconds while taking notes is a real time saver. I definitely recommend it.

This is a fantastic app that I have been following since early this year. I seldom use it because my previous learning schedule does not require an app as powerful as it is (Chinese high school centralizes on solving problem sets, and I was busy writing the college application essays). Yet, as a blogger, I praised it a lot in my articles. I still love RemNote, but there is one thing that prevents me from using it. Again, this factor may be only important to me. For me, the cloze deletions in RemNote does not have enough context. I am a huge fan of cloze deletions, and I wrote an anki add-on that imports all my markdown files into Anki cards, where each document is converted to a note and syntaxes like bold, italics etc. are converted into cloze deletions. Nevertheless, I would eagerly jumping into RemNote if it has better support to add more contexts. Also, feel free to reach me if you want a Chinese translation. When I shared this app with my readers, they told me that they needed a Chinese tutorial. I am willing to help with you guys if needed.

Very promising product. Developers are very responsive and the software is being developed at an impressive pace. Kudos @martin_schneider1 There are unique features here that still have not been implemented in Roam or other competitors - for example, PDF linking and a dynamic sidebar. I've been trying it here and there and planning to start using it fully next year for my Master's. There is a learning curve in using the application as well as some UX/UI quirks to get used to. Hopefully, developers will invest some time polishing the experience now when RemNote has the paid version.

As many have said, I have as well tried all of the other similar apps, this is the one that really delivers and has potential to do even more. I love these two new updates, they are exactly what i wanted to! Aliases are crutial for languages that have multiple cases, so that i can seamlesly use words in different cases and link than to the same Rem. I didnt get to use it, but making an alias should be an inline operation then, that is there should be an option to alias the Rem while linking it. Another feature I wpuld love to see is integration with YouTube, as my two main mediums of research are PDFs that you have now, and YouTube. Please incorporate abilitie to reference yt timestamp (same as a pdf annotation). Many many other integration options are also possible :)

@skodra Thanks for your thoughts! Like the timestamp idea! This could be a good feature for the Chrome extension (https://chrome.google.com/websto...).

I've been using RemNote since July, and it's been my favourite product since then. As a lifelong learner and also a student currently, RemNote is not only a great personal knowledge management system, but also has a brilliant set of features to help retain knowledge. And the devs have been very proactive in fixing and rolling out new features regularly. I've been able to collect, curate, synthesize, and remember so much more information because of RemNote! Could not recommend it more strongly to any other students out there!
