What's a number you stopped reporting because it was making you look better than you are?

I will go first.
Page views.
For months, we reported page views to our investors. The number went up every month. It looked like progress. It looked like growth. Everyone was happy.
Then we looked at what was actually happening. People were landing on the blog, reading one post, and leaving. They were not clicking on the call to action. They were not signing up for the trial. They were not coming back.
The page views were a lie. They made us feel good. They did not tell us anything useful.
We stopped reporting page views. We started reporting trial signups and activation rates. The numbers were smaller. They were also real.
What number are you reporting that makes you look better than you actually are?

i stopped flexing my “busy schedule” because I realized being constantly exhausted wasn’t productivity, it was poor balance.
@simran_kumar For me, it was the number of hours I worked every week. I thought overworking made me look dedicated, but honestly, it just showed I didn’t know how to disconnect or manage my time properly
@simran_kumar Same. It became a problem when I had to hire someone to take over from me (I was leaving the company), and no one met the expectations I had set with the C-levels.
Impressions... on like everything from Google to social media.
