What tools did you find on Product Hunt long ago that you now can't imagine a life without them?

I've been on this platform for over 2 years, and we have to admit that the number of tools that appear here every day is truly unimaginable.

Sometimes it's hard to select the best ones, but I have to say that some that I found a few months or years ago, I still use every day because they are useful to me in some way.

Here is my pick:

  • @Streak Hunter – A reminder to log in to Product Hunt every day

  • @SurfPal – a time tracker for my internet browsing

  • @TabsMagic – one tab in a browser that gathers my other tabs (something like Trello for my tabs)

  • @Tidyread – Chrome extension that reads RSS feed (summarises news)

Do you have any long-term experience with the tools you've discovered on Product Hunt?

Feel free to share. πŸ™‚

Thanks for sharing these tools

Nika

@kaydanΒ You are welcome! :) If you have your own preferred pick, please, share it! :)

Kaydan

@busmark_w_nikaΒ Thanks! I’m still exploring the products available and following key figures like you to learn and benefit more. Looking forward to discovering great things!

Ramin

Definitely @Readwise
Use it almost every day.

Nika

@raminΒ I noticed this tool in the past because I used to read a lot. Unfortunately, my reading hobbies are more in the background. πŸ™ˆ But love the idea!

@SurfPal is the best one. Thank you @busmark_w_nika for sharing.

Nika

@raniazyaneΒ You are welcome! :) I can see where I should spend less time! :)

Satya Prakash

Great picks @busmark_w_nika! If you liked these, you might enjoy Note in Tabs β€” not on Product Hunt yet, but it’s been a huge boost to my focus. It opens a notepad in every new tab β€” perfect for quick thoughts, daily tasks jot down and staying on track.

Nika

@satya5614Β It could be a good restriction tool – until you are not done (and ticked) all the tasks, you cannot enjoy the internet! :D

@Tryp.com - launched 4 years ago :)

Nika

@andre_rangelΒ Do you use your own tool too? :)

AndrΓ© Rangel

@busmark_w_nikaΒ ofc :) it's a bit adictive as well xD

Nika

@andre_rangelΒ It is nothing better than supporting your own project by using it! :)

@Screen Studio For a startup that doesn't have that kind of budget to hire professional editors, this product is very useful to show the process of using it! We use it in almost every tutorial we do, even answering user questions in general!

@canva for sure

Nika

@canvaΒ  @aryansharma17, Did you find it on Product Hunt or only see that tool featured? They have been on the market relatively long.

Aryan Sharma

@busmark_w_nikaΒ my bad, i did not get your question.

okay, it is bolt.new, i have got it even before it got fame among software developers.

Rohan Chaubey

I first found @Cursor on PH and then we used it for building websites.

Nika

@rohanrecommendsΒ This is the best possible scenario. You will find a product that will generate income later :)

Ram

For me @FeedLoom

I use this tool every day to stay updated on news, niche blogs, and search topics I followβ€”delivered as simple summaries to my WhatsApp or Email, without drowning in tabs or inbox clutter.

Nika

@introvertdevΒ feed reader? :)

Ram

@busmark_w_nikaΒ Yes! But instead of endless scrolling, it sends you clean summaries directly to your email, so you're not overwhelmed with information. Just the updates you care about.

Nika

@introvertdevΒ True true, good for digital detox but I would have FOMO anyway :D

Ju Chuang Ark

Maybe @Raindrop.io - Bookmarks Manager, I just used. That sounds bland, but it allows me to retrieve the desired URL from a multitude of bookmarks much faster.πŸ™‚

Nika

@partick_support, doesn't it work like Mac folders? Can you create them within one browser? But I can see the added value that you can be in any browser, and these bookmarks are transferable.

Ju Chuang Ark

@busmark_w_nikaΒ Mostly yes, it can be added as an extension application by the browser, supports importing raw bookmark files for transfer, and has other features. It helps me find pearls of interest to me from a bunch of bookmarks, which I'm still experiencing.
