Pitch your product. Win $1M+
by•
Update: The Deel Leaderboard will no longer be going ahead today for the Paris event.
We’re teaming up with The Pitch by @Deel, a global startup competition where up to 100 winners will receive $50k in funding and up to 10 winners will receive $1M+.
If you make the cut, you’ll also show up on special Product Hunt leaderboards, starting with the first event on April 13.
So this is not just another application form floating around the internet. There is real money on the table, and if you get in, people will actually see you.

This looks like a legit opportunity worth applying to — $50k floor with a shot at $1M+ is real money, not exposure bucks. The Product Hunt leaderboard visibility is a nice bonus, actual eyeballs from the right crowd. April 13 is close though so you'd need to move fast on the application. Are you thinking of throwing your hat in?
@verticomply Good news, it’s not just one shot. There are multiple regional competitions, and you can choose the one that works best for you. Each has its own deadline (10 days before the event), so there’s still time depending on where you apply!
Regional dates:
Paris: April 13
Berlin: April 20
Tel Aviv: April 23
London: April 28
New York: May 5
Singapore: May 12
Dubai: May 14
I'd like to know a little bit more info to what happens with all the applications - usually ideas can be protected by NDA's but I can't see anything here? Looks great but sounds too good to be true without knowing more I don't want to hand off my idea!
@georgie_modbur Hi Georgie, our full terms are viewable here: https://www.deel.com/the-pitch-by-deel/terms/
By applying, applicants retain full ownership of their IP; Deel cannot claim ownership of them in any way.
Love the clarity here . Most competitions are vague about outcomes but this one is very direct about what’s on the table.
ZeroHuman.
This sounds like a great opportunity!
Could you share a bit more: will there be any changes to the rules for the day, anything unusual that doesn’t happen on a typical launch day?
This is a great opportunity. where do we apply?
@metabynny Hi, the link to apply is located at the bottom of the ProductHunt post!
@aaronoleary Amazing idea and sounds like really attractive🥹 same curious: WHO select the final winner by founders?investors? or someone else? 13 April sounds like need to apply RIGHT NOW!!
@aaronoleary @laura_yang1 Hi Laura, our applicants are evaluated by investors with a successful track record.
Also, good news, it’s not just one shot!

Let's do it!
what's the ideal stage of the company? pre-revenue or post?
@omgjennie Both!
Love this initiative. Real money on the table changes everything. We're building in proptech (AI-powered permit research) and definitely applying. Anyone else from the real estate tech space here?
This is exciting! A question for those who've been through a similar competition. Is it better to apply as a solo founder with a live product and paying subscribers, or do they prefer teams with a more formal startup structure? I'm asking as a solo non-technical founder who built two live AI apps from scratch. Trying to understand if this competition is designed for people like me, or more for VC-backed startups.
@vanya_kostova Hi Vanya, both types of team are welcome to apply!
@po_larr Thank you!
