Last week we built us a tool to see exactly what our LLM calls cost.

Hands up who's worried with token costs? Yep, me too.

We were actually paying ~$5/year to keep track of our LLM costs for @Helicone AI. After the @Mintlify acquisition it wasn't the same .

I just told Claude Code to use Remotion to enhance my launch video for the new Pretty Canvas.

Claude did a pretty good first draft. Then I prompted the following:

"Few things to update. The colour code should be: hashtag#0D4EBD hashtag#0A224D hashtag#0065FD hashtag#FEFEFD hashtag#9BA5BD
and accents of yellow where needed. - The font should be Poppins (titles) and Work Sans for smaller stuff. - The logo of Pretty Prompt is this one (attached) - Make sure you also save this information as context for future video edits. - Finally, the last screen should be this one (attached) use it as an example of the style of the lower thirds"

The result? 10x better video. In brand. When you provide good context, the output is way way better.
