It's an app that suggest outfits depending on the occasion and there are budgets you can choose in how expensive you want the outfit to be. It displays the outfit on a real life look a like mannequin to show you what the outfit would look like and you click on the clothes you like and it sends you to the websites to purchase the clothes and my app makes money through affiliate links

  
Hey Krivi — really like this idea, especially the affiliate model. There’s clear demand in helping people quickly decide what to wear based on occasion + budget.

The mannequin/realistic rendering part is quite complex for an MVP, but this can be simplified and launched fast with curated outfits, smart filtering, and clean visuals to validate demand first.

A lot of startup competitions sounds exciting until you read the details. This one at least feels like there is something meaningful on the table.

Curious how much weight goes into the actual product versus the pitch itself in the early review stage.

The part about showing upon special Product Hunt leaderboards is smart. Funding gets attention, but visibility is what can really create momentum.

The timing part matters a lot here. A lot of people will probably see the headline and not realize some of the deadlines are very close.

Would be interesting to know how many very early stage products usually stand out in something like this.

The $50k floor is probably what makes this feel real. That changes it from a nice idea into something founders might actually prioritize.

Curious how many companies will be applying over all, since this isn't an exclusive Product Hunt partnership...

Terms:

The $50K investment conforms to YC standards and will be done via SAFE with a 20% discount to the next priced round and no valuation cap. If you are raising a round right now, we can also join the round. As part of entering The Pitch competition, you are required to take this investment, but our intention with such an investment is to support founders without taking large ownership stakes or competing with lead investors. Companies selected also receive access to our network, go-to-market support, ecosystem perks, and strategic introductions. As a corporation, Deel will require certain standard rights as it manages these investments (e.g. information rights), but our goal is to support you as much as you need/want.

Applications close 10 days before each regional event. Regional dates:

  • Paris: April 13th

  • Berlin: April 20th

  • Tel Aviv: April 23rd

  • London: April 28th

  • New York: May 5th

  • Singapore: May 12th

  • Dubai: May 14th
