This looks great! I'll definitely try this out. Perhaps you could include burner phone numbers along with this in the future (I want to be able to track how I get signed up for those pesky Telemarketer calls every now and then). Also, some places require a billing address to go with CC info. I am assuming there is no masking/privacy of that right now?
Thanks! You can use any billing info you'd like actually :).
This is really smart but any plan for future support of linking credit cards vs bank account? Gotta get those points.
Hey all, I run we are running a campaign where the number one most upvoted product of the day can receive a discounted promo video, is your team interested?
This kind of reminds me of the semi-disposable card numbers PayPal used to allow users to create. Good stuff!
What's not made clear on the site at the moment is the personal liability for fraudulent charges on one of these VANs. I recently had to change card #s (oh, if this had only launched two weeks ago!) because my card had been reused by someone else on Seamless — vendor-locking would not have stopped this outright (so it seems), so dispute policies are still necessary.
This is amazing. Excited for the day I have a physical card that does the same thing.
Would be cool to see an Apple Pay integration
Just curious what fees are associated with this or how you guys are covering the cost of ach/processing/plaid auth, etc. & and if you could go into a bit of detail about your business model?

This is a great great product - everything is so simple and straightforward. And I really appreciate your smart copy like 'If the questions on this page fail to satisfy your intense thirst for knowledge, you can ask us directly at .' :) Also, thanks for the whole Watsi thing, it was a great way for me to try out your product as well as make a donation.
BTW, I have a question: if I use Privacy.com to buy flight tickets, and then when checking in for a flight I'll get asked to show a card that I used to purchase the tickets should I just show my bank's card? I think they'll have your virtual card on file instead.
So depending on your use case, you can either show the card virtual card on your phone, or you should be able to swipe any other physical card (since the check-in kiosks are usually just getting the name off your card).
It's usually the receptionists who ask to confirm the last 4 digits of a card. But I think unless I used a burner card showing a virtual card is a possible solution. Thanks!
