Loved the output, slick UI and the dark mode. Can we have a low-resolution preview as soon as we've finished recording? Would be helpful as processing long videos take time.
Zaid
@seebham Thank you so much Shubham for the comment, Glad you like it, most of the Post recording editing feature / preview would be released soon later this month

Found this on the PH newsletter and got immediately amazed by it. Congrats Zaid!

@chiara_cortina Thank you so much Chiara, I also got very excited that PH featured the app on their email newsletter :)

I really like the idea / product, but why is the pricing model $19.99 for 50 videos? How does this differ from Screen Studio where you pay once and can film unlimited videos forever?
Zaid
@b_ragone The difference in pricing comes down to the fact that Phia is a web-based application, which means there are ongoing costs for things like CDN usage, storage, and server resources that we need to account for. These ensure that the recordings are stored securely and accessible from anywhere. If you check Screen Studio’s updated pricing, you’ll notice that for cloud storage, they’re also charging $9 per month. The pricing models may differ based on the features and services offered, but the goal is to provide a fair and competitive solution that delivers value. I hope this helps clarify the reasoning behind our pricing :)
Looks like a fantastic tool for creating polished and professional screen recordings. Does it offer any advanced editing options beyond the dynamic titles and backgrounds?
Zaid
@stevenson3 Thank you for the Jacob, Sure, in the future version, that's on the roadmap, like adding different device styles, animated backgrounds etc.

Can it only be the Web?
Zaid
@zouyu1121 Currently it's only for the web, but the desktop versions will be released soon

This looks really great, i was using Tella.TV but just might switch to this. Some features missing include subtitle/captioning capabilities, AI trim/remove silence/remove buffer, For the current price can't really complain though, just a bummer its not yet ready for Windows.
Zaid
@emmanuel_asika Hello Emmanuel, Glad you like it, the desktop versions are still in progress and would be released in the future :)

Two issues I'd address: 1) Specify the mac KB shortcut to start/stop recording (if it is mentioned, make it more obvious) 2) Rendering is stuck at 87% and/or fails completely (might be a load issue)
Zaid
@kartick Hi Kartick, Thank you for your message, and I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience you’ve experienced. The rendering issue you mentioned might be due to traffic load, but after checking your account, I couldn't find any failed videos. In fact, I see that your video was successfully processed: https://www.phia.app/share/6d821... Regarding the keyboard shortcut for starting and stopping recordings on Mac, I appreciate the feedback! I’ll make sure to improve the visibility of that information in the app to make it more noticeable. If you encounter any further issues or have additional questions, please feel free to reach out to me directly at zaidbrenan@gmail.com, or connect with me on the chat support within the app. Thank you for your patience :)

Good product, but the plan to pay 20USD for every 50 videos is not for me. I don't need to keep the videos in the cloud all the time, a few hours is enough, since each person uploads the videos to Youtube after downloading. Also, I'm disappointed that there is no Windows or Mac software.
Zaid
@baba_mu Hello Baba, There is also a monthly subscription for $8.50 which would allow to get unlimited videos and download them without any limits. The mac version is in the roadmap and would be released soon :)

@zaidbren >There is also a monthly subscription for $8.50 which would allow to get unlimited videos and download them without any limits. Really? You should mention it because it's not listed in the Price Scheme section. Because that price plan would give a very different impression. https://www.phia.app/pricing >The mac version is in the roadmap and would be released soon :) I'm glad to hear this. I'd also like you to consider a windows version if you can, I think for the mac version there are competitors like screen studio, but for the windows version I think the only competitor is FocuSee, the windows version has a lot of users but no competition. I mentioned the two competitors above, but I like Phia's minimalistic and beautiful effects and look. If it can become a not too expensive monthly fee product for various devices, I'm sure it can become the standard for screen recorders! Translated with www.DeepL.com/Translator (free version)
