Build and launch your SaaS application faster with this starter kit—free, open-source, full-stack React + Node.js. Features include auth, payments, AI example app, and admin dashboard.
It's launch week at @Wasp—@matijash and team have announced updates every day, including a @Polar integration for @Open SaaS, a free, open-source SaaS starter kit.
@hadifarnoud You already have an existing API and would like to build an admin dashboard for it? Then you probably don't need Open SaaS. One of its main strengths is that it provides everything, from client to backend and database. So perfect if you want to build a new SaaS or e.g. an internal tool that needs its own database. But you can definitely consume any API with it.
For your use case, probably something like Astro or another frontend-only solution would be a fit.
@matijash no I do have the frontend already and want to make backend api for it, eg login register etc. and i do need a backoffice to manage and support those users, plans etc
@hadifarnoud ah that makes sense then! Yes, you can then create a whole backoffice with Open SaaS. It might make sense to integrate the existing frontend within it, too. That would probably be the easiest solution.

Open SaaS is an impressive starter kit—having a full-stack, feature-rich boilerplate that’s ready for integrations can save developers so much time. Do you plan to add more pre-built templates for different SaaS use cases?
This is wild, was able to fork it and spin up a SaaS scaffold with auth, payments, and admin UI in like 15 minutes. Serious head start for anyone tired of boilerplate hell.

that sounds cool. can I use it for api only and have backoffice admin built with it?
