Muze - Creative chat space

Muze is a very different kind of messaging app. Each conversation takes place on a free-form canvas where you can zoom, draw, layer, edit, and collaborate. It’s a space where talking with your friends feels freeing, creative, and animated.

Much love for the hunt. For anyone just finding us now, hello and welcome! We built Muze in order to bring more life and intimacy to chat. It lets you say what you want to say, *how* you want to say it. Instead of boring sequences of message bubbles, you're given a freeform canvas where you can experiment and express anything. The Muze gang wants to give a special shoutout to the community who supported us throughout our stay on beta. All of the bug reports, feedback, idea jamming, delightful conversational moments, and everything in between have meant the world to us. It's been a crazy time, but we're extremely grateful to be launched and aligned with a group that is looking to bring the best out of what we've built. If you want to join the conversation, here are a few ways you can support us: - Download the app here! —> - Check out our website and feel free to share. - Keep in touch. We recently put together a Discord community for anyone interested in staying in closer contact with the team. Bug reports, feature requests, chat highlights, you name it. Here's the link the join: Thank you all so much. Looking forward to reshaping and refreshing chat together.
Very interesting take on messaging! Been looking for a new messaging app and I would have loved to use this, but the requirements for my next messaging app are that it must be private, secure, open source, and decentralized (no lock-in). I haven't seen any mention of end-to-end encryption of message/canvas contents; is this something that you're doing? Any plans at all regarding open sourcing or decentralization?
Can I get valid discord link? It seems expired...
For sure. Sorry about that - forgot to update the expiration for the link I made in my comment above. I made an edit to my comment that swapped out the invalid link with one that works. Here you go:
If Muze sounds familiar it's because you subscribed to or have heard some buzz about it on Twitter. Muze reminds me of MessageMe (a creative messaging app that's no longer around) meets New Hive (a site to fill a blank canvas with art, GIFs, etc.

Flipping amazing. So, you know what Imma gonna ask...Android?
actively being worked on :)
Anywhere to sign up to be notified for Android?
This app will eventually go viral. It's so much more pleasurable to use than anything else out there. By a thousand miles. And it's far more practical, not just creative. If you've got a group chat going, if you've got a business and need to communicate with the group, you and they will be able to respond in ways unimaginable before this... This app is a game changer. Big time.
Amazing to see this in the wild - congratulations Muze team!
Been waiting on this to drop for a hot minute. Congrats Muze team <3
It's so much fun - love this team. Congrats on the launch!!
i wish all my groupchats had just been living on this app for years. could have had way more shrek gifs in my life
This team has redefined what a messaging app can be. As a designer, Muze has become my fav way to communicate and collaborate with fellow creatives. Big moves being made😳👏🏽
would love to see some examples!
Current messaging is very linear and not creative or expressive. Muze Messenger breaks down those walls and allows us to communicate freely. What I like about the app is that I can pull a message where ever I want on the screen or change the font of my messaging to express how I feel. This app definitely makes the group chat more "real" and not the "oh ... i miss understood what you said because we're texting" vibe.
