Me: "So how does a beta-user and early adopter earn 20% off forever..." 😏 Monarch: "Sorry! New users only!"
Woops, my thoughts exactly! haha
Been using Monarch to track my expenses for a few months now and even though I'm not using the full suite of planning tools it's still the most user-friendly budget-tracking app I've tried, period. Cheers to the team for being super responsive and open to feedback as well!
Mint is so close to being great, but there are just a ton of really frustrating things about it - Investments being counted as transactions, Paypal being counted twice on your budgets, and not being able to set aside certain accounts for budgets and "contribute" to them I've been using Monarch for 2 months now, and it just gets everything right. It hits on all the places where Mint misses. Plus, they make it very obvious that they care about users' feedback. I will admit $10/month is a little on the expensive side, but honestly Monarch is the only app I've figured out how to set up such that I can both look at the big picture (which YNAB doesn't do) and know for sure that only the transactions I care about are being counted toward each budget. For the confidence in what my money is doing, I would say it's worth the $10/month
I love that this is designed to deliver forward-looking change, not just past-looking insights. SignalFire is honored to get to fuel this team!
Good idea to disrupt this market of money managing apps. But I don’t understand - what’s the main difference to existing analogs?
See my comments at the top of this post that outline the main differences. Thanks!
Thx, Val =)
Looks very nice! Good luck with your launch!
I've been desperately looking for an app like this since I was at university, particularly the planning part. Looking forward to trying it when it gets to South Africa!
Thanks for building this ! I've tried the product and it is indeed better than Mint. I also like how you guys handle the new feature requests and voting. If you don't mind answering - have you built this functionality in house or you're using some kind of integration with a task system?
Thanks for the kind words! We're using ProductBoard to track the feature requests and voting, you can embed the feature request portal in websites and apps
For me this tool is necessary
Thanks 👍 Congratulations for lunch. It's very useful.
