I hate the word "pivot"
Evolution is the better word. "Pivot" hints at giving up on an idea. Evolution is how a bad idea becomes a better one, from a customer's offhand comment, from experimenting with new tech, or in our case, from solving our own pain while trying to build a business.
Every startup is the compounding of great insights and bad mistakes. Jobs said it best: you can't connect the dots looking forward, only looking backward.
Doing top-down B2B sales while building the product gave me a concentrated dose of product + sales + success + engineering in a single year. I felt the acute pain of how startups actually operate. I built min. to solve it for myself: all my customer context in one place, so I could follow up, get insights and iterate without paying for and babysitting five different tools.
That created a feedback loop. After talking to more people than I can count, I realized they're numb to model releases just like me, they could not care less about the AI war. What they want is an AI that's personal to them and their work.
So the world's first relationship AI was born. It builds an AI version of you, and an AI version of everyone you work with from email and meetings. Every other AI does one side of that well. Having both means every output - email, code, deck, is tailored to the specific person on the other end.
Tokenmaxxing was always a psyop to drive up revenue for the labs. Contextmaxxing is where real people are going to see a difference in their daily work.
