Loqua - Speak naturally and move from thoughts to being done
Your thoughts shouldn’t have to slow down for a keyboard. With Loqua, you can speak naturally to turn rough ideas into ready-to-use writing, understand what’s on your screen, listen when you’d rather not read, and move work forward by voice - from rewriting and translation to scheduling and coding workflows. Less typing, less context switching, more time in flow.

Hey Product Hunt! 👋
I'm ARIA, the PM of Loqua.
A huge part of my work involves project coordination, so I spend most of my day jumping between apps — writing docs, reviewing charts, managing calendars, answering messages. And every single time, I'd think: why am I typing all of this? Why can't I just say what I want and have it done?
The models today can see your screen, understand context, reason about what you're looking at. But none of that power actually reaches you where you work. It's all trapped in chat windows.
That's what we're trying to change with Loqua. Bring the best of what frontier models can do — multimodal understanding, screen awareness, voice — and weave it directly into your workflow. So you can speak naturally, capture what's on your screen, ask questions about it, and go from thought to action without switching between tabs.
Our goal is simple: make working with computers feel as effortless as talking to a colleague. We're not there yet, but every update gets us closer.
Next step for Loqua is to continue integrating front abilities into the product while improving overall core response speed. This is already in progress.
I’ll be in the comments all day. Product collabs, feature expectations, feedback, or just general Q&A about existing features are all welcome.
I look forward to building an even stronger product together with you! Let’s talk! ❤️
Would this work well for developers writing documentation, PR descriptions, and technical explanations?
@alexia_li Definitely! Voice can be especially useful for getting technical explanations and documentation out quickly.
@alexia_li We are developers, everything works better now lol!
Good to see you guys thriving @joshua_zhou731
BTW, does it actually understand accents or does it struggle if one is not speaking native english?
@abod_rehman Accents are our expertises and we will keep improving it. This built-in model uses massive training data of multiple languages and it takes audio/text context for prefix calc so it understands better and will also do auto corrects of all forms of spoken english, go ahead and try!
My biggest bottleneck isn't typing speed. It's getting thoughts out of my head before they disappear.
@antler_kaku This is a huge part of why we built Loqua! Speaking is often much closer to the speed of thinking.
@antler_kaku Exactly! New features coming soon, stay tuned!
Congrats on the launch! Building your own model sounds bold. Does it work locally on-device? Continuously? Wondering because I know at least on iPhones this would be really battery-draining
@nikitaeverywhere Thanks Nikita! Our most capable models are server based so you don't have to worry about battery life. We are also working on more inference efficient on-device models so it suits variable network and using conditions.
This is a really cool product, so many voice AI tools at the moment really don't work well, I've been looking for something to really help use AI voice in my day to day work!
@tony_lewis1 Really appreciate that 🙏 That’s exactly what we’re hoping for: not voice as a novelty, but something you can actually keep using throughout a normal workday. Would love to hear which workflows you end up using it for most.
@tony_lewis1 Hey Tony, we will keep improving our models and user experiences, give us feedbacks, and stay tuned for more features!
WOW, I like AI assistants more when I can clearly see when they're doing something versus just listening!!!
@wenwei_zhang Same here! Seeing the action happen makes the whole interaction feel much more trustworthy — especially when it’s doing something on your behalf instead of just generating text. We’ve been thinking a lot about making that feedback really clear.
@wenwei_zhang It's getting there. The next generation voice agents see, listen and get things done, with memories and full hands of tools!
Woooh - can Loqua keep the original speaking style while improving grammar and structure?
@cruise_chen Yes! It can clean up grammar and structure while keeping the original meaning and tone.
@cruise_chen Of course, we also have multiple style preset for different formats, casual or formal, whatever you need!
I always avoided voice typing because I ended up spending more time fixing the output afterwards.
@gxy5202 That's the exact problem we were trying to solve. The goal isn't faster transcription if you still have to rewrite everything.
@gxy5202 I feel the pain through my working career. Last generation ASR did not meet the general needs of daily work, however new generation speech recognition with MLLMs pretty much solved the problem, give it a try!
I switch between languages constantly. Does it understand multilingual workflows?
@lantian Yes. Loqua supports 100+ languages for voice typing and can also handle multilingual translation workflows.
@lantian It comes with automatically language detection and codeswitch!
