Congrats on the launch! Love the design direction you took here, especially the unordinary app UI 🤩. I will for sure give it a try. Wishing you tremendous success!

Congrats on the launch! Looks stunning, fantastic design! Any plans to support Mac?
Tom Garcy
@bonvisions great taste in design! 😂 and yes, in v2, we want to have Mac native app as well

@fatemeh_mirzadeh we are glad to please your taste ❤️ thank you
Congrats on the launch! I was a bit skeptical about a circular calendar at first, but once you're used to it, it's really easier to see your day at first glance. Love it!

@jvrasa thanks for the proof of concept, that's amazing ❤️

💡 Bright idea
The design and concept are really nice. However the onboarding was a bit confusing, as it seems like I have to tap on an action but in fact it was just a slide show, where only the Next button worked. But the worst thing for me is that even though I saw the in-app purchase plans, it is annoying and dishonest to have the user give access to their calendar and contacts upfront (those are not needed for the onboarding) and then telling the user that they have to pay to continue. Now that would force me to start the trial (which now I don’t want to do) just to disconnect or write to the support to delete my data.
Tom Garcy
@greghovanesyan thanks for the feedback! You might get a point with the login/signup AFTER the onboarding. We'll think about that. Also, we don't store any data, everything is just connected to Google and we don't see or save anything on our end.

@tom_garcy thank you too for the nice product and clarification!

We just removed the paywall/30 day trial after the onboarding and you now have 2 extra days to look around and test Kyugo before going into the trial. 🎉

I really liked the concept and product. I had a couples pieces of feedback: - Can the on-boarding be a bit more detailed, took me some time to understand - Can there be a free version with limited features, that way we can still use it.
Tom Garcy
@cheaithanya_pappu thanks for the feedback! What part of the onboarding did you find hard to understand? We just change the paywall and you have 2 extra days to try it out and then you have 30 day trial. Since the whole app is bootstrapped, we have no investors and want to build much more powerful version 2, by subscribing you're supporting the development 🙏

@tom_garcy completely understandable. And it’s great that you’re open about it

This looks awesome! I have always struggled with managing my time via a calendar. Will Kyugo integrate with my existing calendars, specifically the ones I have for work?
Tom Garcy
@lucas2064004 Kyugo now runs on Google Calendar and you have an option to display one shared calendar. Kyugo is not meant to replace complex planning, multiple shared calendars, etc. It should be your plan in your pocket.

What's the concept behind the half circular design?
Tom Garcy
@sentry_co you can "zoom in" to your morning, or your afternoon. But you can also "zoom out" to see your whole day (12 hours). Based on my research, people often see the day divided into two parts, morning and afternoon. So you can focus on one part of the day and then the other.

@tom_garcy Interesting UX!

@sentry_co give it a try! 👍
