Which of the following features would make a to do list appealing to you?

@danieljthrelfall The thing is that I have bunch of solutions to block any distractions on my phone (I especially adore Forest app). But the problem remains on desktop. Actually I haven't done any research on the available solutions, but however:) would be awesome to have a complete disctraction-free digital environment, when I switch "concentration" mode on my phone and it works also on my laptop and vice versa. But desktop only would also be just great:)

@danieljthrelfall @yuryfication This is what Kosmo addresses: distraction on desktop. We don't have a mobile app yet. It should be a great complement if you use Forest. Give it a try!

@yuryfication This is awesome feedback, Yury. I've used Brain.fm and RescueTime, but they have more features than I actually need. The way we've done it with KosmoTime is super simple, and attached to tasks. 1. So, you start a task and you're given the option to go into distraction blocking mode. 2. Your Slack goes into DND. (Thank God!) Your email disables. Irrelevant tabs all shut down. (Don't worry, they will reopen automatically later on.) 3. Whenever you open a new tab in your browser, Kosmo will gently ask you if it's related to your task. If it is, of course, you can browse away. If not, however, you can stay on the straight and narrow. We prefer this built-in distraction blocking feature in order to stay literally on-task, tying your actual task achievement to a distraction-free environment. It's laser focus mode!

@danieljthrelfall @yuryfication ok we've done the desktop, we'll do mobile next :-)

@danieljthrelfall do you have a way to import checklists or tasks?

When looking at the features KosmoTime has, it really does feel like it's backed by productivity science. This seems like a great way to create opinionated software.

I really love the product, the interface is beautiful and the idea is great! Looking forward to using it on daily basis for the next couple of weeks. Kudos to the team that created this! Also interested about the pricing? Could not find it on the website.
Daniel Threlfall
@porush_puri Thank you! If your experience is like ours, using it becomes addictive (in the best possible way). Also, the more you use it, the better you become at understanding your work rhythms, batching tasks, and getting into flow. It's amazing. The product is currently free. No pricing plans in place at this time.

@porush_puri Can we quote you on our website and link to your biz?

I love it! It's hard to bring fresh value to the productivity app market, and you guys found a way to do it :)

@omri_lachman1 Thank you! We identified some areas in which cognitive psychology and product could come together, and we're kinda proud of it. 😁

Alfredo Deambrosi
This looks like the ideal tool for putting into practice the "rules for focused success" that Cal Newport talks about in Deep Work.
Daniel Threlfall
@deambrosi Those are EXACTLY some of the principles we used when developing the app's features!
