So many colleagues are running a double setup with VS Code and JetBrains to use Copilot, Kilo Code, or Comparse. It’s a game changer. I can’t wait to spread the word about it

Darko

@sebastien_vey Happy to make things easier for all of you!

As a vibe coder, i think Kilo code is the best Ai agent tool I have used so far compared to the others..it's so smart, responsive and agile in writing and debugging code... with other tools I have to try multiple times, burning a tone of token before they can fix a bug but with kilo, it's just 1 run, max 3 times and it's fixed...not forgetting that is has a open source version. Keep up the good work them Kilo.

@micah224 This is a very common thing many users say. Thank you!

fmerian

@micah224 love it! and icymi @Kilo Code now automatically runs code review agents that analyze pull requests, suggest improvements, catch bugs, and ensure code quality standards (announced today, see launch).

enjoy!

I have been using Kilo Code over a month with VS Code. It has been great so far. I like its features like background editing, codebase indexing, the flexibility to use any local LLM, plus the pay-per-use subscription model with any LLM like OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, or anything from Open Router provider etc.

Go ahead Kilo Code team!

Darko

@arnobpl Thank you for your kind words!

The app is fantastic — a perfect fit for Vibe. At the moment, it’s the best solution I’ve tried.

The multi-mode system is impressive: you can assign specific tasks to each mode, and the vector-based code scanning is highly effective.

It’s packed with features, in my opinion even surpassing many closed-source alternatives, which often end up “hallucinating” — randomly deleting or rewriting large sections of code while ignoring direct instructions.

Another huge advantage is the flexibility: you can connect any models you like, including local ones.

Right now, it’s an outstanding tool — just keep it that way!

The most important thing is not to burden it with unnecessary restrictions like those in closed-source versions.

Darko

@shericus Thanks! Yes, we're all-in on open source.

fmerian

@shericus oss ftw!
