Jamm is a lightweight voice and video chat app for remote teams. Enables more spontaneous connections and short bursty conversations within the context of whatever you are working on (screen-sharing, white-boarding, recorded video stories and more).
Super excited to share what we built with the ProductHunt community!
We have all been working remotely for a long time now and we think we have something pretty great. ❤️ Love that feeling of being able to connect quickly and easily with my team mates when they are there or record my screen and share things with them if they are offline right now. Keeping me always productive and never blocked.
Hope you love it too!

At garagescript.org, or student team is 100% remote and uses Jamm. Our live help session is summarized really well by Jamm's engineering and coding use case: https://jamm.app/en/new-engineer...
@songz Thanks Song, glad you're finding it helpful in education! We've had a few people using it for teaching and great to see it working well there as well.
@jason_davey We don't have a mobile version right now but you can join meetings on iOS in Safari if someone shares the meeting link with you. We definitely plan to add a mobile app in the near future.

Really enjoying the app for our remote teams! Something like this is long overdue! A few questions:
- 1) Any support for posting to private slack channels? (Maybe I missed this,),
- 2) Also, we commonly have 1 - 2 people who are in low bandwidth environments, where it's easier for them to call in via phone. Is support for this on the roadmap?
Thanks for the awesome product!
@eric_mcmillen Glad to hear you're enjoying the app!
1. We don't call out your private slack channels to post to directly but if you just copy a link and paste it into your private group it will unfurl automatically.
2. We don't have plans to add phone in support for now. We will probably build a mobile app first and allow you to join meetings audio only. Would that work for you?
My company has been substituting Google Hangouts with Jamm for the past month or so now. I really appreciate how the video chat stays viewable even as I toggle through various desktops.
@kevin_farrell That's awesome Kevin, that is also one of my favorite things about Jamm. It's just there!

Using Jamm has made ad hoc meetings wayyyy easier. Now I can just ping my co-workers on Slack (which Jamm integrates with, btw) and say "Jamm time?" and we jump into a sess in a quick second. Love what the team has built and how easy it is to use!
