Technical escalation specialist by day, founder by necessity
Hey Product Hunt, I'm Victoria.
My day job is technical escalation. I've spent years working inside platforms like Shopify and Thinkific figuring out why things break, validating bugs, and translating what's actually happening into something leadership can understand and act on.
That work gave me a pretty clear view of something that doesn't get talked about enough. When a platform issue or an internal tool issue goes unresolved and the vendor isn't moving, nobody really knows what to do. Push harder? Build a workaround and move on? Start looking at other options? Teams just wing it every single time and absorb the cost without ever creating the necessary report for internal use or discussing next steps. Tracking issues of internal tools you engage other vendors to support is crucial.
That bothered me enough that I eventually built something about it.
8 years building for clients. Finally shipped something for myself.
I'm Arman, spent 8 years building WordPress plugins, WooCommerce stores, and SaaS tools for other people's businesses. 60+ products shipped, none of them mine...
Tried WhatsApp chat automation tool, didn't work, this year I built Kommentify, its a Chrome extension that automates LinkedIn engagement so founders and sales reps can grow without spending hours commenting/posting every day.
Launched my first app today! ...But caught a cold and can't eat my celebration dinner 😭
Hi everyone! I'm Shin, a developer from Japan.
Today is a big day for me because I finally launched my app PomoLab on Product Hunt! To celebrate, I made this huge feast (Sushi cake & Roast beef).
...But ironically, I caught a bad fever right after cooking. Now I can only eat rice porridge while watching my ranking (currently Top 50!).
It's a bittersweet launch day, but I'm happy to be here. If you have any advice for a sick maker in the final hours, let me know!
New indie dev founder launching app here tomorrow
Hi all, looking forward to engaging with this community. I'm a designer with a technical background but have never been a coder. I was recently convinced by a developer friend that AI assisted coding was good enough now to enable me to actually build. After testing with a series of personal tools, then a proof of concept iOS app, it was clear my friend was right. I now have an outlet for all the pent up creative ideas in my head. Here goes shot number 1.
Over the past 4 weeks, I built and launched Polaris (web) and now the iOS app version is available.
We built an AI that runs your social media so you don't have to 🙂, launching tomorrow on PH🙈
Hey PH fam!
Most social media tools still make YOU do the work, writing captions, editing videos, figuring out what to post. They just make the manual process slightly faster.
We took a completely different approach.
SnapReel AI is a 6-agent AI system that runs your entire social media, strategy, video creation, and publishing, without you lifting a finger.
How do co-founders meet?
I am Maxim, tech startup hound. I am working on a platform and products which allow co-founders and their angels to meet at a table where they stay focused on products, gradually build their IP, be prepared for pivots and skip the need to hang over the abyss.
I am at a chapter when there is an internally built product which is going to be launched here at PH over time. It practically defines platform maturity and aims to connect with co-founders in orthogonal verticals to leverage such founding tools.
Hi! I'm Alexandra, first time Founder
I got a degree in Electrical Engineering and worked in the power industry for 2 years, in my free time got certified as a pilates instructor. 6 months ago I quit my engineering job to develop a vision I've had stuck in my head. I've been growing Embody by Alexandra which is a personalized pilates app. Ironically enough compared to everything else on product hunt, it's intentionally built to create a personal experience for the user without using AI.
It's built to be a space to consistently show up for yourself, in an environment that feels genuine and personal.
Hi, I'm Petar, founder of Outlain - ex Head of Engineering with 15 years of experience.
Hey everyone I'm Petar solo founder of Outlain.AI, building from Sofia, Bulgaria. I've spent 15 years in software delivery started building games in high school, then test automation engineer, architect, consultant across 100+ companies, and most recently Head of Engineering. The same problem broke delivery everywhere I went: bad specs.
I built Outlain.AI to fix it. Excited to be here, see what everyone else is shipping, and trade honest feedback
Building a fintech startup solo
I'm Anas solo founder building RentPerk, a UK fintech that turns rent payments into rewards and credit-building for renters. Think: you pay rent, you earn points, your credit score goes up automatically. Nobody has built this in the UK yet and I've spent the last several months figuring out why and whether I can fix it.
I wanted to start a thread because the last few months have been genuinely wild and I suspect a lot of founders here are navigating similar things. A few of the more interesting corners I've ended up in:
The regulated sector problem. Building in fintech means you can't just ship. Before a single tenant pays a penny of rent through RentPerk, I needed to appoint an MLRO, draft an AML policy, register with the ICO, negotiate an EMI partnership, and get legal sign-off on Terms of Service and a Privacy Policy. I did all of it as a solo non-technical founder. Happy to share what I learned and what I'd do differently.
Hi PH community! 👋 I’m Safi, a solo builder and 'Portfolio Founder' based in Singapore. 🇸🇬
I m passionate about building frictionless tools that solve my own daily hurdles. Currently shipping:
Mirowl: A native Mac utility built with Rust for high-performance asset management.
PSLEPractice: An AI-powered platform helping students ace their exams.
ReelDecks: A tool for modern learners to study YouTube content.
I m a huge believer in local-first tech and data privacy. Excited to finally be active here and learn from all the amazing makers! Let s connect.
