I’m a UX designer recovering from "pixel-perfection" syndrome.

I m Lily, a UX designer and a founding member of a startup. I have a confession: I spent a huge chunk of my career designing incredibly beautiful, pixel-perfect screens... for products that absolutely zero people wanted to buy.

I finally snapped. I realized that a smooth micro-interaction can't save a product with zero market demand. Now, I m entirely obsessed with data-driven validation. I refuse to even open a design tool until the business logic has been brutally stress-tested by raw data.

Just dropping by to say hi and see if I'm alone here. Are there any other "recovering perfectionists" who have embraced the "ugly but validated" philosophy? What s the hardest truth you ve had to accept about one of your past projects?

Hey everyone — I’m James Darr (JD)- Hospitality, consulting, product — one builder’s journey

You can call me JD, I ve spent the past several years building businesses in a few very different worlds: hospitality with Montrose Inn, consulting through ProLine, and now product-building with Provoke.

I wouldn t say I have it all figured out I just really enjoy building things, learning fast, and trying to create products and experiences that genuinely help people. Some of that has looked like running businesses in the real world, some of it has looked like solving messy problems for other companies, and some of it now looks like building new tools from scratch.

Hey Product Hunters 👋

I'm Jeanne and I built Traction with my daughter Casey.

I spent years running a marketing agency, earning Clio Awards in advertising, and training in internet marketing. Casey is a certified public trainer who struggled to get her own business off the ground even with me in her corner.

So she built the solution herself. And then we built it together.

That frustration a talented business owner who couldn't get traction no matter how hard she worked is exactly who we built this for.

Hey I'm Sarvesh, An AI native product designer

Hey everyone, I m Sarvesh, a product designer and builder interested in the space between product design, creative tooling, AI agents, and emerging tech.

Lately I ve been exploring how AI changes the design workflow, especially around agent harnesses, durable project memory, design systems, prototyping, and how designers can move faster without losing taste or context. I m especially interested in tools that help builders go from idea to usable product more fluidly.

1st timer x 1 month build - Made an iOS app that plays music the moment you arrive somewhere

Hi PH

I'm Jason. A month ago I'd never built a product before. A month ago today I started building one. It's launching on Wednesday and I'm still slightly wide-eyed about it.

The why: I read Ready Player Two and there's a moment where music kicks in the second a character arrives somewhere meaningful. That sat with me. It pulled up a load of memories Sunday afternoons pulling up to the game with AC/DC blasting, the song already half-finished by the time we got to the car park. Hunting for the right banger before walking into the gym. Picking up my brother and knowing exactly which track he'd want playing as he opened the door.

Shortcuts can do a basic version of this set a location, play a track. But none of it did the full thing I had in my head: starting a song at a specific point rather than always from the beginning. Geofence sizing you can tune per place a small radius for a flat, a bigger one for a stadium. Roadtrip Drops that trigger a song halfway through a journey, for those proper family-road-trip moments. And the whole lot wired into Calendar and Contacts, so a meeting auto-becomes a drop and a friend's contact card does too.

Hey Yigit here! Seeking idea validation and feedback for my MVP

Hey everybody! Yigit here. I just love to build and make things. I do it throughout my career and finally now, I decided seek your guidance through idea validation, feedback and hopefully some tests.
I had this problem of managing my personal finance for a while now. I tried few apps but was not satisfied with them. Entering names, amounts, selecting categories, dates etc. was too much of an effort for me. That was just the 'creating a record' part let alone my investments, recurring payments etc. So I took the challenge to create fAInant. A personal finance app that leverages AI and automatically captures your bank notifications and turns them into transactions. I have built my MVP and here I am.
