We (Ably - https://www.ably.io/) are customers of Intercom and are generally very happy. The user interface works well and our developer customers really seem to like it. The back end admin is pretty good too. There are a few frustrating things about it but we've fed those back to the Intercom team so we'll see what happens ;)
